Seattle's first Match Day is in the books! ⚽️ Kudos to our partners for a smooth event and to our 911 Communications Center for handling a slight increase in citywide 911 calls, compared to the same date last year.

When cardiac arrest happens, acting quickly can make all the difference. All you need to be a hero is knowledge, courage and willingness to act. #CPRWeek is an opportunity to refresh your CPR skills or learn the two simple steps of Hands-Only CPR. If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest. #NationOfLifesavers @Walgreens is a national sponsor of American Heart Association’s Nation of Lifesavers

Last night our 911 Center dispatched multiple responders to look for a 70-year-old endangered woman. Two of our Community Crisis Responders (CCRs) located her in the CID. Thanks to all the CCRs, 911 staff, and @SeattlePD officers who worked together on this search!
