Every athlete should do drills that universally apply to all sports! “Sport specific” movements are hammered in practice. Every athlete needs to train their whole body!!! #cbathebook #agility #mobility #movement #speed

A coach has to know what’s going on inside their athletes’ minds.
A coach should never hold the keys to a player's confidence. Only the athlete should have those. If a coach feels that any of their athletes struggle with this, they need to hand the keys back. A simple conversation with the athlete about what they think and how they can start thinking differently is all it takes. #AthleteConfidence #MentalGame #GrowthMindset #PlayerDevelopment #CoachingBetterAthletes

Many say they want to be different, but they "protect" their egos, never fully giving themselves to what it takes to be different. They hold back just enough so that if they happen to fail, they have an excuse. #AthleteMindset #SportsPsychology #MentalStrength #Bookstagram

The world’s best athletes didn’t jump straight into competition. The best formula is a natural progression. Playground fun➡️structured games➡️competitive sports. This builds neural pathways, resilience, and joy while avoiding burnout. #coachingbetterathletes #youthsports
