Very good news. In dangerous times, the ability to strike hard with precision at longer ranges is vital to both combat effectiveness and credible deterrence.
This capability marks a major step forward in modernizing the Canadian Army. HIMARS will give the Army a mobile, long-range precision strike capability that can be deployed across Canada, including the Arctic, and abroad using existing RCAF aircraft. (1/2)
