The numbers speak for themselves, we need political will and public investment now... Just like the 90's

Les chiffres parlent d'eux-mêmes : nous avons besoin de volonté politique et d'investissements publics dès maintenant... Tout comme dans les années 90.

Thought provoking words live on CBC "Up North" with executive director, Ken Miller.
"I think of the people involved in this movement; I think of the people who are no longer here because they have been taken too soon from this preventable issue.
“With HIV rates rising year after year and AIDS Service Organizations shutting down across the country due to lack of funding, it is clear we are facing a crisis,” Miller stated.
“So, let me be perfectly clear: I am not here to celebrate accomplishments. I am not here to praise policy makers or people’s resilience. I am here to demand action in the face of inaction.”
Did you know five people are infected with HIV every day? On #WorldAIDSDay we're reminding Canadians of the UNAIDS goal of zero new HIV acquisition, zero AIDS deaths, and zero stigma and discrimination by 2030.
Together, we can work towards an AIDS free future for all.
The red ribbon is the international symbol of HIV & AIDS awareness. Proud to meet with Ken Miller, Executive Director of @CDNAIDS, to pick up my ribbon to raise awareness for this disease & to reaffirm our government’s commitment to improving treatment & prevention.
Thank you, Minister Holland, for your supportive words.
