Maxi Araujo on our LB shortlist to replace Cucurella hmmm, he scored a good goal for Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia yesterday & I have heard good things about him. Whether it is Araujo/Grimaldo/Carreras/Hall, that is a good shortlist to replace Cucurella tbf even if all are downgrades.

Tal y como hemos informado en las últimas semanas en @RadioMARCA, los nombres son los de Marc Cucurella y Alejandro Grimaldo.

How? Last summer, after Bayern failed to sign priority target Nico Williams, they turned to alternatives. One of them was Dortmund's Jamie Gittens. The supervisory board, including Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, was skeptical about the player. A club employee was tasked with contacting Niko Kovač to get an honest opinion from him about Gittens. Kovač is said to have made it more than clear that he considers the Englishman "not professional enough" to succeed at FC Bayern. The club then abandoned the pursuit of Gittens and went all in on Luis Díaz. Gittens ended up joining Chelsea

Good, Cucurella se queda hopefully. He has 3 years left on his Chelsea contract & isn’t going to force a move away so no reason to sell unless Atlético/any other club pays crazy money (unproven LB like Brown costing 55-65m lol) Clearlake won’t sign a good replacement anyways.

Perez is truly a genius, no wonder he has been so successful. He hyped a €150m during elections to win it & made the bid for a big name player (Álvarez) knowing Atlético would never sell he fucks up Barca’s attempts to sign him. Álvarez staying at AM is the lesser of 2 evils.

Honestly if we don’t sign Rogers, we should take a chance on Leão. Big club & country pedigree with trophies won, there is a good player in there who might be inconsistent but is still better than Gittens/Garnacho.
Also, Mendes relationship = Leão’s price should be reasonable.

As long as he doesn’t cost over £100m, I am on board the Rogers train (Tuchel & Emery rate him for a reason). He is the best attacking signing that I can see Clearlake realistically making who would improve us.
Rogers & Palmer as a duo can certainly cook hard for Chelsea. 🥶🥶
