After incentivizing the crossings of unaccompanied alien children, the Biden admin handed over thousands of them to ‘super sponsors,’ people who took in three or more children. In many cases, the super sponsors were looking to exploit the children for labor or sex trafficking.

He has an immigration detainer hold.

When I first started this account, the @CanyonCo Sheriff's website posted inmate's detainer information.
I have suspected for a while that they ended that practice - this case appears to confirm it.

Mike Vasquez was just kiIIed in a car crash in Idaho.
The drunken driver who sped through a stop sign and crashed into him was Nixon Amilcar Ixcoy Lix, an illegal from Guatemala.
Mike leaves behind a wife and three children who will now grow up without their father.
The three kids are in the hospital due to injuries from the crash. Please say a prayer for them.
How many more innocent Americans have to die at the hands of illegals?!

If you listen closely to @GovPritzker, he exemplifies exactly what I write about in this piece.
His reckless “welcoming” policies, Orwellian doublespeak for policies that incentivized unaudited illegal immigration and weakened accountability, helped create the environment that put Katie and others in graves.
Yet even after the devastation, there is no reflection, no reassessment, no wisdom to recognize the harm these policies helped create.
Instead, Illinois families get more taxes, more excuses, and more blame directed everywhere except at the leadership responsible for the outcomes.
@GovPritzker champions these policies proudly when speaking to activists and political allies, but when the consequences emerge, suddenly the fault belongs to Abbott, DeSantis, “teams,” or unnamed outside forces.
That is not leadership. It is moral and political cowardice.
In Illinois, the buck never seems to stop anywhere.
Katie deserved better.
Illinois deserved better.
Not performative compassion or political theater — real leadership measured by real outcomes.

If arrested by Border Patrol, they are quickly deported. Quick turnaround. Border Patrol has released no one on their own recognizance - plenty of bed space.

Getting along great with Canada. Wish better on information sharing but countries have their own rules but talk quite often.

What is Border Patrol's role in the interior now? For the first time ever the flow at the border is way down and we have a high level of confidence. So that freed up officers. ICE now has new people and we are refining information to find one person so apprehension is taking place where we want. So you do not see the chaos.
