His name was Kyle Daniel Craig. He wasn’t looking for trouble.
He wasn’t committing a crime.
He wasn’t hurting anyone.
He was a 26-year-old husband and father trying to buy a used ATV.
Instead, according to prosecutors, he was lured into a trap, robbed by savages, and left on the side of the road.
A wife lost her husband. A child lost a father. Parents lost their son.
And another American family was shattered forever.
The part that enrages me isn’t just the crime. It’s how quickly society moves on.
Kyle’s family gets a life sentence of grief. His child grows up with memories instead of a father. The headlines disappear. The pain doesn’t.
Every statistic has a name. Every crime victim leaves behind people who loved them.
Kyle Daniel Craig deserved to go home.
He never got that chance.

Went for a quick bite to eat today, and while standing in line, I was asked by a large group of bikers to cut in front of them. I declined, but they insisted. As I made my way past them they all thanked me and shook my hand, each one introducing themselves. When I got to the front, they asked if they could pray for me. Said a quick prayer for me and I for them. They then tried to buy my lunch which I politely refused. Get to the counter to pay and the owner told me it was on the house. So I dumped all the cash I had in the tip jar. Was a nice change of pace to feel appreciated and respected instead of feared or hated. Thanks for making my day!!!
