This Week In GSL History 1983
40 Years Ago
With :34 seconds left in the game, Central Valley running back #13 Marlin Johnson scored the game-winning touchdown giving the Bears the share of the GSL Title with a 10-7 win over G-Prep. On the night, Johnson rushed 23 times for 100yds & Bear QB Steve Allen completed 5 of 6 passes during the game deciding drive.
