It's clear the DUP does not care about the trauma experienced by women in the City Centre when faced with graphic imagery that reminds them of some of the very worst times in their lives.

So proud of Michael and his success in becoming the Director of The Open University in Ireland!
What makes this even more impressive is that he navigated the intense interview process during the first weeks of having a newborn and while caring for me after having a c section.
We’re pleased to announce Michael Bower as the new Director of The Open University in Ireland, effective 30 March 2026.
Currently Deputy Director, Michael brings 11 years’ experience and a strong commitment to inclusive, lifelong learning.

We are delighted, following an Alliance proposal which secured additional funding for a kerbside glass recycling scheme, that Belfast City Council is now in a position to recommend that the kerbside glass recycling is expanded across Ormiston for 26/27.

Alliance delivering practical changes as we set the rate in Belfast. As a result of last year, we have also delivered an expanded kerbside glass scheme. This will be rolled out further in the coming year.
