Meta point: Fertility is a great example of where progressives' ideology, squeamishness and reluctance to engage with an issue means that media commentary is NOT necessarily rigorous or empirical. This undercuts any kind of effective policy engagement.

The funny thing is this sort of social engineering would actually work on girls, who are much more conformist. If schools taught girls to be nicer to boys, they would listen and relationships would generally be more pleasant. But feminists would riot.
