We're proud to announce that our work to reduce transmission of mitochondrial DNA disease through mitochondrial donation IVF treatment has now seen eight healthy babies born.

Today we welcomed our first patients to the Community Diagnostic Centre at @_Metrocentre.
The centre will offer diagnostic services such as imaging, respiratory, and cardiac investigations for patients in Gateshead and Newcastle.

The gas has been switched off @NewcastleHosps Regent Point site, saving 120 tonnes of carbon emissions annually! The site is now powered by solar panels and heat pumps. Thanks to the staff at Regent Point for their patience while the work has been ongoing. #netzeroestates
