Seems the site is back up. The current site is not run by the original Carpool Vote team (even though it has the same branding). It's great if people are getting to the polls but we cannot be sure it is being done safely. Please get in touch if you know who has reactivated it.

Analysis of election results has found that 49.2% of eligible voters cast a ballot in the 2018 midterm. That's the highest turnout rate since 1914, when Woodrow Wilson was president, Babe Ruth was a rookie, and the Panama Canal opened for business. #Midterms2018

URGENT: A virtual phone bank has been set up to call #Florida residents who may have been forced to fill out a provisional ballot because their ID was rejected. The ask is to have them take their ID to county supervisors by 5:00 PM ET today.

Voters were reportedly turned away at a polling site in Detroit early on Election Day due to missing voting machines.

My mom just called after waiting in line an hour in PA, her polling place says they're almost out of ballots. They planned on 800 voters. They're almost at 700 at noon, not enough ballots to last until 8:00 pm!

That's illegal.
The precinct is required to allow voters assigned to their precinct to vote.
Provisional ballots, worst case.
Sending them to "find another precinct" violates election rules.
Tell them to call 1-866-OUR-VOTE.
