The "unmarked graves" at Kamloops Indian Residential School were found at a depth of 3 feet, running in an east-west direction. They just so happened to be found in a field with a septic system buried at 3 feet, and running in an east-west direction. nationalpost.com/opinion/kam…

Not one grave was found. This unbelievable hoax continues. The lie is so big, they don’t know how to get out of it.
Today marks five years since the discovery of unmarked graves in Kamloops, B.C. and Montreal will be holding an international tribunal this week with a focus on residential schools and unmarked graves. APTN’s Savanna Craig shares more on the tribunal. youtu.be/L8BDG4xC0eA

On May 27, 2021 the Tkemlups band announced they found the remains of 215 children at the grounds of the former Kamloops Residential School. I thought at the time: Oh ok, wow, I will wait for more information and evidence for this. Now it is 5 years later. I am still waiting.

Melanie Bennet is fast becoming a national treasure. This is what I call good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone journalism. Keep it up!
In an interactive activism lab, young Muslims are asked what the main issues are facing the Ummah (Islamic nation) and how can they be addressed. None of the adults in the room react to “Jew free” response. The session titled “Visionaries of the Ummah: Youth activism lab,” began with a 20-minutes of praise for the Muslim Brotherhood and its founder, Hasan al-Banna delivered by Khaled Al-Qazzaz of the lobby group CMPAC. The CBC and APTN "prank show" that is deceiving its targets through elaborate schemes to punish them for their views and humiliate them will cost $2.5-$5million. It is likely mostly or entirely taxpayer money but the producers are welcome to chime in about their funding.

Every country or jurisdiction that has actually examined the evidence for paediatric gender medicine, seriously and rigorously, has changed course. Different healthcare systems. Different political landscapes. All reaching the same conclusion: this experiment cannot be allowed to continue. 17 systematic reviews have all concluded that the evidence for this treatment protocol is low to very low quality. And yet Canada’s federal and provincial governments — with the exception of Alberta — still fail to act. The time for looking the other way is over. Indeed, the very fact that Canada has looked away for so long is a national disgrace. My statement at the @May_Day_Canada press conference on Parliament Hill this morning

Another one of Jordan’s bangers that made me understand he was the best possible ally one could have in the fight for the soul of the university: when he spoke straight to the hearts of young people from the belly of the beast at Harvard. The Lord’s work, truly.

In 1993, Chief Charlene Belleau said nothing about her uncle/grandfather/great uncle/great grandfather's "suicide" or him being flogged until he passed out (she didn't even know about his existence until late in her life). She claimed that she and her mother had positive experiences at the residential school (St. Joseph's Mission in Williams Lake). The problems she identified were things like "loss of language" and being assigned a student number.
Replying to @FrancesWiddows1
Here is the link to her 1993 testimony recherche-collection-search.… Her mother said her experience was positive, and she testified "Personally, my own experience at residential school was positive" Goes on to talk about rankings etc... well my school organized desks in that manner ffs

Thank you very much for commenting on this @Aaronpete_. My position is that Chief Charlene Belleau's "individual experiences" would need to be weighed against other forms of evidence. As of today, it is clear that Chief Belleau is an unreliable witness. She did not even know Augustine Allen, as he died in the 1920s when he was approximately nine years old. She has referred to him as her uncle, her great uncle, her grandfather and her great grandfather. We don't even know with certainty that he is related to her. Chief Belleau is also not just an innocent Elder who has accidentally weighed in on this topic. She is using her power to try to have me silenced. She is a major player in the residential schools discussion and the censorious environment that surrounds it. I will be doing a post on Belleau today, and I would be happy to discuss this further with you when I have compiled my research. At the same time, I should also stress that I do not think that Belleau should be cancelled or intimidated in any way. She has not engaged in threats or "hate speech". She has made a "wish", which is not a threat. Although she perhaps is opening me up to "destestation and vilification", I don't think she is doing this on the basis of a "protected ground" that I have. And even if she were, I don't think that "hate speech" should be illegal and would oppose any attempt to punish her. The biggest problem is @UBC. There were many alarming things said by Derek Thompson, the Director of Indigenous Engagement. He seems to believe that the Musqueam should determine who is able to speak on campus because of "truth and reconciliation". @UBC really needs to reverse course and invite you and me, and perhaps Belleau and Thompson, to have an open and honest discussion about these matters.
I debated on responding to this. But it is an issue that will continue to come up - so it’s probably worth taking the time to comment. First, and most obviously - this persons perspective is not appropriate, not respectful, and I do not condone this type of rhetoric. With all due respect, I’ll ask people to remember that these aren’t intellectuals advocating for the pursuit of truth that you’re highlighting and posting about. Brittany, Frances, and others - were in the pursuing truth and advocating for the debate of ideas in a free country. That’s not where this lady is coming from. I’m not excusing her behaviour but I do hope explaining it helps us find common ground. I ask with great humility that you put yourself in her shoes. This lady was likely abused. When she hears denialism, a word plagued with poor definitions, I’m certain that she believes that Frances is denying the abuse she went through, and the abuse her friends and family went through. I’ve interviewed @FrancesWiddows1 and I know that’s not what she’s denying. She is not denying this lady’s individual experiences. So, similar to a domestic violence victim, or a person who’s experienced trauma - when she hears someone’s denying her worldview and experience - she wishes them harm. That doesn’t make that statement okay, and again no matter what this rhetoric isn’t good. When hearing from people with lived experiences, I propose we walk lightly and ask for respectful dialogue from them.

I just can't imagine abasing myself like this. I'm dying inside for her -- a total repudiation of everything she's ever said and done. For a seat in the Liberal backbench, and 30 seconds of fame. What an eternal disgrace. And the thing is: neither side respects her.
Former Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu rises for the first time as a Liberal during Question Period to a standing ovation.

I hope people understand what the media is doing. They are actively trying to convince the public that Pierre is the reason for people crossing the floor. They sure don’t want you to think about what these Party traitors were offered to cross. And why do they care so much about getting Pierre out? Because he is still the Libs biggest threat.

Poilievre is asked "Do you have any comment on the rumors circulating that more floor crossings are imminent? And what do these floor crossings say about the current state of the Conservative Party of Canada?" Poilievre "Well, I don't comment on rumors, but what I will say is this. Members of Parliament should stand up for the party and the principles that they said they would when they were looking people in the eye in their elections" "If you ran in an election, you went out and you said to little old ladies, to veterans, to truckers, to single moms, that you were going to stand up for the Conservative platform of affordability, safety and national sovereignty and to do so as part of the Conservative Party that people voted for, then you should respect those people and honor your word." "Mark Carney is saying is that your vote doesn't count, that he's going to use backroom dirty deals to reverse the election result in countless ridings, robbing people of their voice and giving him the power to raise your cost of living. That is wrong." "He should respect the democratic will of the Canadian people" @PierrePoilievre @AmazingZoltan

How does someone go from being this animated against the Liberals so recently to crossing the floor and joining them?
Just happened to be her second last house sitting before crossing the floor. Zero integrity.
