Austin Sears (@austinsears0) has been playing with the kind of confidence that forces defenses into survival mode. The prolific scoring machine has been an absolute man on fire, torching opponents from all three levels while averaging a scorching 31.3 points per game against two strong teams in Ashland and George Washington (WV). Whether defenders press up, sag off, or send help, Sears seems to have an answer ready. He can rain in shots from deep with unlimited range, punish defenders with a silky middy, and attack the paint with relentless aggression that keeps pressure on a defense from opening tip to final buzzer. What makes Austin so dangerous is how complete his offensive arsenal has become. Getting to the rim looked almost effortless as he sliced through defenses and attacked multiple defenders without hesitation. Once he got downhill, he displayed a pro-like ability to initiate contact, absorb physical play, and earn trips to the foul line while still maintaining control.
