Bodyslammed an old woman with a riot shield down stairs on the West Terrace, inciting protestors 9. Beat protestors on the West Terrace trying to talk to them over the head with lethal blows to the point of blackouts 10. Froze in the line of duty near the Rotunda requiring the Oath Keepers to help them perform their duties and then perjured themselves over it 11. Played possum and attempted to adjust their body camera and faked injuries 12. Joked on camera about how minor injuries they gained from protestors fighting back would leave sexy scars, and then launched frivolous lawsuits claiming damages from emotional distress 13. Shot a nonviolent protestor through the face with plastic rounds on the West Terrace which incited witnesses to anger 14. Left duffel bags of chemical spray canisters out on the West Terrace for protestors to grab 15. Left loose zip ties out for protestors to acquire near the Memorial Door And that's just what I'm pulling from memory because I'm bored at work.

I was just caught in a teen takeover at the Hyde Park Trader Joe’s and it’s STILL going on at this moment. Multiple fights and swarms in Hyde Park. This is unacceptable. This is dangerous. And Chicago residents should not have to wonder if a routine grocery trip will turn into chaos. Teen takeovers are not harmless. They put families, seniors, workers, shoppers, drivers, and young people themselves at risk. Mayor Brandon Johnson, Governor Pritzker, and local aldermen can no longer treat this like a public relations problem. This is a public safety crisis, and it requires real action. We need: ✅ A visible public safety plan for high-risk areas ✅ Coordination between CPD, state officials, businesses, and community leaders ✅ Consequences for organized lawlessness ✅ Support for parents and guardians ✅ Safe youth programming that does not excuse criminal behavior ✅ Protection for workers, shoppers, and residents Compassion without accountability is not leadership. Ignoring this will not make it go away. Chicago families deserve safety. Hyde Park deserves safety. Our young people deserve structure, discipline, opportunity, and accountability. I am calling on the mayor, the governor, and every elected official responsible for this city to act now. Enough excuses. Protect the people.
