Today is June 12th. For the past few years, this has been the day our family loaded up the car and headed to Fort Walton Beach. It became more than a vacation,!it became a tradition. We wanted to give our children experiences we never had growing up. A real family vacation. Time together. Memories that would last long after the trip was over. This year, we aren’t making that drive. We knew months ago that we wouldn’t be able to because of Kate’s condition, but knowing it and living it are two different things. So this year, our children learn a different lesson. Sometimes life changes the plans you’ve carefully made. Sometimes love looks like sacrifice. Sometimes faith means trusting God when the road ahead isn’t the one you expected. The beach can wait. The memories we’ll make as we walk through this season together cannot. And perhaps the greatest lesson isn’t that vacations are wonderful, it’s that family isn’t defined by where you go, but by how you stand together when you can’t.

Our society settles 50% time served on a life sentence which will be 30 years max if paroled. (maybe)
While it’s not on the table, the correct, proportionate, just punishment for Karmelo Anthony is the death penalty.

Of course. When you have unlimited AI agents, you don’t have to measure KPIs. It’s the KPIs and incentives that drive human behavior in these environments. Upsell/cross-sell, MTTR, NPS, and call duration just to name a few
each drive humans to behavior with sell interest in a customer service role. Remove the KPIs and the scores for humans would run way higher.
JUST IN: Verizon CEO says the company’s new AI customer service agents scored "1,280 basis points" higher on customer satisfaction than humans.

Impose cost. Order of magnitude.
So incredibly dead on with what's happening in the industry right now...

Using the word dislocation as it relates to massive job loses related to AI, but not including the enormous wealth consolidation as a dislocation is pretty telling.

Carl Jung was right when he wrote that if a man does not face his shadow by age 35 he will not improve. He will calcify. His defense will become his personality.

I started donating a little over a year ago after realizing I wanted to do more to help people in need in a real and tangible way. There are a lot of causes we can support, but giving blood is one of the few things that literally cannot be manufactured. Someone, somewhere, has to roll up their sleeve. That reality hit home a few weeks ago while Kate was receiving an iron infusion. Across from us sat a veteran battling cancer. He was receiving a transfusion of A blood, my blood type. It was a treatment of necessity. Without it, he would not have the strength to continue to fight. If you have a critical or highly needed blood type, I would encourage you to consider donating regularly. You may never meet the person who receives it. You may never know their name, their story, or the battle they are facing. So Others May Live
it’s not just a mantra. Your donation could be the reason they get another treatment, another birthday, another holiday, another chance. Sometimes helping others is not complicated. Sometimes it is as simple as showing up, sitting in a chair, and giving what you can. Today was one of those days. â€ïžđŸ©ž #GiveBlood #DonateBlood #ServeOthers #SoOthersMayLive

Not the biggest fan of Dana
but what is he wrong about here?
Dana White says men are NOT allowed to complain about their mental health because their job is to provide and protect their families, calling it a sign of WEAKNESS 😳👀 “It’s definitely a sign of weakness. I mean, there’s no other way to look at it
Life is not fair, you’re right
in the real world there are people that are looking to take what you have.”
