A shithole country in other words.
They teach their children that America was founded on freedom.
This is technically true and functionally a lie.
It was founded on freedom for a specific group of people, built on the land of people who were killed to make room for it, with labor stolen from people who were not considered people.
This is not a radical interpretation. This is what the documents say. This is what the archaeology says. This is what the ledgers say.
And they know. The educated ones know. They learned it in college. Some of them teach it.
But knowing it and integrating it, letting it change your fundamental self-image, your relationship to the country, your understanding of what you owe and to whom, that is different.
Knowledge without integration is decoration.
They have decorated their guilt beautifully.
It has not changed anything structural.
The people who were killed for the land are still dealing with the consequences of that land being taken.
The people whose labor built the wealth are still dealing with the consequences of that wealth being extracted.
The pretty acknowledgment sits on top of the unchanged structure.
And is called progress.

🆘 How AI has already ruined the quality of life for billions worldwide:
1. No more cheap computers
2. No more cheap mobile phones
3. No more cheap USB sticks
4. No more cheap mass data storage like hard disks, ssds and nvme
5. Due to points 1-4 the pace of advancement of consumer and other electronics down to a slow grind
6. People fired because idiotic CEOs spent billions on "tokenmaxxing"
7. Over the top fear mongering by AI executives and leaders making people paranoid that they will be replaced
8. Worse customer service from companies than ever before, harder and harder to reach a human who can actually help and solve your problem
9. Making kids dumber and dumber by promoting the use of AI as a substitute for critical thinking
10. All of the above to the power of a googolplex
There's been literally zero benefit created by AI that isn't negated by all of the above.
AI is the greatest net loss that humanity has ever inflicted upon itself.

I'm more than pretty sure that China will have ASML domain expertise in a few years at most.
Once that happens the pace of development of locally made AI chips in China, will grow exponentially and supercede the US.

Pretty sure the US and China are spending billions to replace ASML and Zeiss as soon as possible.
When that happens, Europe is completely out of the AI value chain. And classified models will only be available to US and China.
