I kinda like Anthropic's approach to Mythos 5/Fable 5, although I wonder how long it'll take for someone to bypass the classifiers?

Github has really gone downhill since MS purchased it, hasn't it?
Jun 11
Omarchy on Asahi creator lost access to his GitHub account two weeks ago due to some automated process flagging his account. Repo went offline and has been since. Not even me personally reaching out to GitHub twice has been able to restore his account. Terrifying. Embarrassing.

To be fair, you could count the number of people using Outlook on Fedora on one hand and have fingers to spare...
Due to a fedora upgrade we learned that for the last 20 years you've been sending your outlook password over plaintext fedoramagazine.org/fedora-43…

This was normal for Linux users back then. One of the reasons Ubuntu became popular was that it had better driver support. When I used Fedora, I had to copy USB drivers over from a floppy disk so I could compile my network drivers to set up a bridge to my WISP's AP.

And compiling the drivers on my shitty 1 core AMD Sempron took ages. When I switched to Ubuntu 4.10 I only needed to add the iptable rules. Ubuntu felt like a breath of fresh air.

Ubuntu's driver support wasn't amazing, mind you. Just better than the rest. I still had to compile my wifi and sound card drivers in the beginning but around 6.10 they were supported out of the box, while other distros didn't.

I wonder how many people are going to get hit by supply chain attacks because their AI tools are disabling security features. This is why you have to keep your AI on a tight leash

Spicy thought, but does "support queer-owned businesses" not extend to Palantir and OpenAI because they're run by the "wrong" type of gay guys?🀭
Never come back agian.

Round 2
In order to get my kittens to take their medicine I had to cut a piece of treat stick off, gently cut it vertically, then put the pill in and put a dollop of Dreamies Creamy on top to hide it. I effectively created a hot dog for them. It worked, but still.
