This is a results-driven decision that misapplies the law, confuses the issues, and misrepresents the position of the State. Biological sex is not vague, and neither is this law. The good news is that this ruling is narrow. Idaho’s law remains enforceable in most settings, including changing rooms and many restrooms. The injunction applies only in limited circumstances and to certain people. My office will appeal, and we will keep fighting until this commonsense protection is fully enforced.

Very grateful that my bill to protect Idaho's children from the harms of addictive social media was signed today by the Governor! This is the first bill of its kind in the U.S., and it tells social media companies that they can no longer get away with addicting our children.

HB929 Passed the senate. To the Governor for signing! HB929.. This bill amends Idaho Code to add section 41-1854, prohibiting health carriers from preventing providers from offering discounted cash prices to insured individuals for health care services. It allows covered people to pay out-of-pocket at negotiated rates lower than the plan's negotiated allowed amount, with such payments counting toward deductibles and annual out-of-pocket maximums upon submission of required documentation.
