I could honestly go on and on and on and on. All verifiable cases. Easily googled. Reported in the mainstream. Now tell me who and what is destroying Ireland (and the UK and beyond). I am speechless. This knocked the wind out of me. This man's story goes so much deeper than this week. So much deeper. Twenty five years before Belfast, Stephen Ogilvie was already surviving the unthinkable. In a flat in Livingston in 2001 drug dealer David McLeave drugged Stephen with GHB. Stripped him. Poured aftershave over his body and set him on fire while he sat watching television. Stephen woke up to find himself on fire. They filmed it like entertainment. McLeave was jailed for 14 years at the High Court in Edinburgh in 2003. In 2001 they set him on fire. In 2026 they took his eye. Twenty five years of surviving. Twenty five years of carrying on. And then Monday night happened. Stephen Ogilvie has learning difficulties. He is a vulnerable man who gives everything he has to the people around him. In 2001 a gang exploited that. In 2026 someone he was helping exploited that. Same man. Same kindness. Same result. How many times does one man have to survive the unthinkable before this country decides he is worth protecting. Same man. Same vulnerability. Same result. Different decade. That is not bad luck. That is a society that has never once put its arms around Stephen Ogilvie and kept him safe. They told us multiculturalism was our strength. They called us racist for questioning it. We are not far right. We are not racist. We are people who have watched this happen again and again. Stephen Ogilvie is not a statistic. He is the consequence. We have survived being silenced. Enough.

This is heartbreaking 😔 All this poor man has ever known is suffering Stephen Ogilvie, the special needs man who was attacked in Belfast a few nights ago suffered an attack years earlier. Mr Ogilvie, 44, moved from Belfast to Scotland to live with a man who offered him to flat share in 2001, but the man who was also a drug dealer, tried to kill Stephen. The man gave Stephen the date rape drug GBH then stripped him, poured aftershave over him and torched him alive. Vulnerable Mr Ogilivie, who is understood to have learning difficulties, later woke up to find his body on fire. The sickening ordeal was captured on video by his torturer. He then fled back to Belfast. The man responsible was jailed for 14 years at the High Court in Edinburgh in April 2003 Fcking hell. Poor bloke.

It seems there are photos of two different Ogilvies going around. One is Samuel, a convicted criminal The other is Stephen, a vulnerable adult. Stephen is the man who was attacked. This is Samuel on the left. The man on the right is Stephen.
