Stay tuned! The EESC exploratory opinion on the #CircularEconomyAct by rapporteur @CillianLohan will be presented/voted on at the June #EESCplenary
The opinion was requested by the European Commission and will put forward concrete proposals for the upcoming #CircularEconomy Act.
The European #CircularEconomy Stakeholder Platform conference showed that circularity is an environmental imperative & a strategic necessity. It will only scale if it becomes a key part of the #SingleMarket.
We keep working for a just transition with #EUCivilSociety at its core.
