To the New Yorkers fleeing NYC, a couple things… 1. You are fleeing policies. Those policies are a result of a leftist worldview, that in many ways you supported, donated to or assisted, even if it was with just your silence or apathy. 2. The places you are fleeing to, have done a much better job protecting their society and environment from that worldview than you did. So you need to learn from them, not try to lead them. 3. You may be rich and powerful and very intelligent in your respective field, but none of that power stopped the inevitable takeover of your beloved city, most likely because you thought you could placate or compromise with the left. You were wrong. 4. Respectfully, the lesson that needs to be learned from this, is not that the left went “too far” but that there is no such thing as “far enough” for the left. They can't be negotiated with, they need to be defeated. You can either help with that, or you can keep fleeing from place to place until there is no place left.

This literally describes every woke left-wing person I’ve ever encountered.

Samsung is leaving New Jersey for Texas. Exxon is leaving New Jersey for Texas. At what point does Trenton admit there's a problem? You can't keep raising taxes, increasing costs, and making it harder to do business—and expect companies to stay. Every business that leaves takes jobs, investment, and opportunity with it. Maybe the path to more revenue isn't having some of the highest taxes in the nation. Maybe it's lowering the tax burden and creating a business climate that attracts employers instead of driving them away. The facts don't lie: businesses are leaving, residents are leaving, and New Jersey is losing. It's time for a different approach.

“Tax the rich” We already do. “Make the rich pay their fair share.” They already do. These slogans are catchy but inaccurate. They reveal that someone is misinformed on taxation in the United States.

Throwing fireworks at police horses? What a rotten disgusting city. Does New York deserve to have anything nice? No.

Immigration used to be a working-class issue. Workers saw it as competition for jobs, housing, hospital beds, and every other government benefit. Milton Friedman said it plainly: you cannot have open immigration and a welfare state. The welfare state turns into a magnet, pulling more people into a government system where the pie is fixed. Every new claimant takes from someone who was already there. Either benefits get cut, or taxes go up, and the working class always pays. That’s why the political class now scapegoats the rich. They need the working man angry at billionaires so he doesn’t notice his slice of the welfare pie shrinking or quietly accept higher taxes to fund it all. Keep the resentment pointed upward, and maybe he won’t turn on the politicians actually responsible.

Maybe we don't have a public school funding problem ... Maybe we have too many administrative staff? Clearly adding more admin staff hasn't improved the numbers, so maybe go back to the 1960s ratio.
