She was born on December 10, 1815, in London, England, to Lord Byron, a famous poet, and Anne Isabella Milbanke, a mathematician and philanthropist.
From an early age, Ada showed a great interest in mathematics, and her mother encouraged her to study the subject. She was tutored in mathematics and science by some of the leading scholars of the time, including Mary Somerville, a Scottish astronomer, and mathematician. Ada's mathematical abilities were exceptional, and she was known for her creativity and original thinking.
