Degrowth Ecosocialism, (as radical needed) reducing large (per capita) economies down to whatever size can be maintained long term in an biosphere compatible way, and always putting ecological (such as rewilding) and egalitarian priorities first, is the only way forward
This so-called “low carbon” energy transition, it turns out, is neither low-carbon nor will it reduce our materials extraction. These techno-solutionist plans are deeply embedded in the modern industrial capitalist system & are driving an acceleration in consumption.
