it's really fucking hard to find competent engineers.
i've interviewed about 20 cs majors who claim to be experts at typescript and only 3 of them have been able to explain what the purpose of useState is (not trolling).

Me: why didn't you monetize for the first 2?
They: because we wanted to raise VC money, so needed to show rapid growth, and growing from 0 to $1M in a year looks much better.

I had a good interview experience with @Coderbyte's IDE. I could hardly tell any differences with my VSCode editor environment. The IDE created a perfect environment to allow me to act on the algorithm questions.

Not really. But it does seem bad to me that companies can't trust a third party to give them a technical candidate assessment and stick only to culture fit questions
Triplebyte tried this and companies essentially just reinterview the candidate immediately after triplebyte does
