New tool(s) day! We’ve added to our specialist ebike kit with some bits for Bosch, Bafang and Mahle. And, of course, this snazzy little number from BSC Tools to keep your levers straight and true (very important!)

“The owner had left the bike outside the shop unlocked as they felt it was safe to leave the bike momentarily 🚨WRONG!!🚨 Always lock your bike when leaving it unattended. Seriously. It sucks, but otherwise you’re just inviting theft. gazette-news.co.uk/news/2448…

Trying to get to the workshop and we’re stuck! Good luck getting a buggy or wheelchair through there. Surely this is unacceptable and unsustainable on every level? Engine running behind me too “it’s nice and cool in here” Last mile delivery needs to happen @yourcolchester @FedEx

We are devastated to hear of the death of local runner and cyclist Arthur Whiston on Argents Lane near West Bergholt on Friday. A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Please contact Essex Police if you have any information.
Detectives investigating a fatal collision between a car and a cyclist are appealing for anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward. We were called to the scene, in Argents Lane, near West Bergholt, at around 12.20pm on Friday 5 July. Sadly, the cyclist, a man aged in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported. A woman was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue. Anyone with information, or footage which could assist our investigation, should contact us as soon as possible. Please quote incident 429 of 5 July. Arthur was a wonderful, gentle man who was a regular at the Bike Kitchen. This is awful, as are all deaths on the roads.
