No standards were set and announced. In previous cycles this all occurred in July. For example, in a congressional debate, it was 5% in polls and $100,000. Candidates were notified of the standard well in advance, and then mid July informed of who qualified.

Florida GOP is playing the same game Democrats played with Kamala Harris by anointing Byron Donalds. Mind you this is before any of us even have the chance to vote in a primary. They are pulling every trick to avoid a real debate.
Apparently, they learned nothing from the backlash that comes with sidelining voters and treating the nomination process like a formality. The message is clear: they think voters will simply fall in line, accept the decision, and move on.
They think you're stupid. They think you're fools. The hubris is remarkable, and the disrespect for the voters they're supposed to represent is even worse.

There was no published threshold for debates in this off-season primary. These Influencer Accounts are helping to push a bullshit narrative that the primary is already over because their chosen candidate is a DOG.
The Florida GOP is sufficiently spooked that Florida voters are rejecting Byron Donalds and are trying to Kamala him onto the November ballot.
Contact the Florida GOP and let them know how you feel about their role in pushing this lack of debate by this arrogant and inferior candidate.
