This EU Council legal opinion could be a game changer: tariffs on all trade from and to the Israeli illegal settlements can be adopted with qualified majority.
Will EU Governments have the courage to stand by and for international law, and by so doing, protect Palestinian communities from further forcible transfer out of the West Bank?
They have an opportunity (yet again) to do the right thing on Monday.

Politico this morning: EU Council legal service confirms that the EU can curb trade with Israel's illegal settlements as a trade measure, with qualified majority.
This adds further pressure on EU Commission to act, removing its excuse.
