2024 @AmericanExpress @AmexUK Leadership Academy for the UK & EMEA The Academy is a free leadership development programme, specifically for high-potential leaders currently in, or identified for, executive roles in the future. It begins in June with an online session followed by a four-day residential programme, 9 – 12 July in London. The programme is designed to support a new generation of #Resilient #Changemakers across Europe, Ghana, Kenya, the Middle East, Nigeria, North Africa, South Africa, and the UK. It is for people in the non-profit sector who are intentionally striving to be better equipped to respond to challenges and keep going in the face of adversity. Founded in 2008, the Academy builds the personal, business, and leadership skills of high-potential non-profit and social purpose #leaders through multi-day, in-person training. In keeping with this vision, the Academy was launched in partnership with @CommonPurpose in 2010. americanexpress.com/en-us/ne… Application Criteria: We are looking for high-potential leaders: Currently in or identified for executive roles in the future, having an average of 5-8 years of experience in the social sector or equivalent Who are at a unique transition point in their professional trajectory where the #AmericanExpressLeadershipAcademy can help accelerate their growth In roles that require them to accelerate their ability to influence inside and outside of their organisations With a track record of innovation, embracing change, and want to transform their team, organisation, and community With a desire and readiness to be supported in public speaking and tell their story to a broader audience Applicants must work for a registered non-profit and/or social enterprise organisation. They must be able to fully commit to all parts of the American Express Leadership Academy including attendance at the in-person Academy, online sessions, and engagement with peers; and to being active in the community of Resilient Changemakers we are striving to develop.
