5 Children Killed In A Crash Near Kitchener-Waterloo: OPP 🚔 11 People Involved In The Crash Have Either Died Or Been Injured, Said Police cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… Five children were killed and several others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in rural Ontario, according to the Ontario Provincial Police. The OPP say the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening in Mapleton Township, at the intersection of 4th Line and Wellington Road 12. That's about 35 kilometres northwest of Kitchener-Waterloo. A total of 11 people were involved in the collision, Dwight Thib, commander for the OPP West Region, said in a news conference Saturday. Ten people in a passenger van and one person in a sport utility vehicle collided at the intersection, said Thib. In the crash, four girls and one boy died, Thib said. The children were four, six, eight, ten and 12 years old, according to the OPP. They were all related. The family involved is from Elmira, according to OPP. The Ontario township is about 37 kilometres south of the intersection where the crash happened, between Mapleton and Kitchener-Waterloo. "This is an unimaginable loss," Thib said. "On behalf of the Ontario Provincial Police, I extend our deepest condolences to the families, loved ones and the community during this incredibly difficult time." Thib said an infant and four adults in the van were seriously injured, along with the the driver of the SUV. They are all in hospital. WATCH | OPP provide update on fatal crash near Kitchener-Waterloo: 👇👇 cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… ~ Five children ranging from four to 12 years old are dead after a two-vehicle collision on Friday evening in Mapleton Township, northwest of Kitchener, Ont. An infant is among six people hospitalized with serious injuries, OPP Supt. Dwight Thib told reporters. ~ At least three people were airlifted to multiple trauma centres, while others were rushed to local hospitals. They were taken to many different hospitals because of the "chaotic" nature of the collision, said OPP Const. Matthew Burton. The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team has been called in, and the traffic will be rerouted around the area while the investigation continues. The intersection will be closed for most of Saturday, officers added. Police said they are not releasing further details as the investigation is ongoing. Loss felt across communities, says Mapleton mayor Gregg Davidson, mayor of Mapleton Township, said the crash is "devastating." He said the road where the collision happened is a major part of the community network and gets a lot of traffic from people heading to their cottages. He said the area is flat and that particular crossroads is not usually an issue. Davidson said the communities in Mapleton and Elmira are very close, as the towns are "right next door" to each other. "[Community members] are family people, they're loving people. They will support each other as much as possible at all times," Davidson told CBC News. Chris Harrow, Mapleton fire chief, said many families in the rural farming town have been there for generations, so the community will feel the loss. "It does take a toll on a whole community, because it's small and people look after each other here," he said. On behalf of the fire department, Harrow expressed condolences to the families affected by the crash. "It's just a horrific day, and we hope that they can find the strength to get through it," he said. In a social media post on Saturday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said his thoughts were with those involved who are in the hospital and with the children's families and loved ones. "This heartbreaking loss is being felt across the community and the entire province," he said. ~ With files from The Canadian Press Read This Article On CBC's Website: cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener… Olivia Piercey · CBC News · Posted: Jun 13, 2026 9:37 AM NDT | Last Updated: 2 hours ago #Ontario #Mapleton #Elmira #CarAccicent #RIP #Children #KitchenerWaterloo #OPP

Tupac Is Being Digitally Resurrected Again, This Time In A Video Game. Not Everyone Likes It Late Rapper's Cameo In Stranger Than Heaven Could Cheapen His Legacy, Journalist Says Jeff Gerstmann couldn't help but laugh incredulously last week at the announcement that the late, legendary rapper Tupac Shakur would make a digital appearance in an upcoming video game. "It's a fairly absurd thing to happen," the longtime games journalist and commentator said. "It struck me as like, 'Oh, what are they doing? This is ridiculous.'" He was far from the only one. Gamers and influencers watching Summer Game Fest, an annual smorgasbord of video game trailers and marketing hype, mostly expressed shock and confusion at the inclusion of the influential American rapper and political activist, who died in 1996. The game, Stranger Than Heaven, is under development by the Japan-based Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, owned by publisher Sega. Set over a roughly 50-year period in the early 1900s, it serves as a prequel to the long-running Like a Dragon series of games, also known as Yakuza. But the announcement was the latest in a series of creative decisions that have earned the studio a growing amount of skepticism — as well as questions about whether Shakur's estate has the rapper's lasting legacy in mind. WATCH | Tupac announced for Stranger Than Heaven: 👇👇 youtu.be/dLXY9WY0xnk?si=-9gH… No further details about Shakur's role in the game were revealed, other than he's an original character named Amaru, after his real middle name. "RGG Studio is treating this integration with the utmost respect for his legacy, crafting every aspect in close collaboration and without the use of AI, including his character design based on archival footage and photographs," the developers said in a press release. Snoop Dogg, who also appears in the game along with his son Cordell Broadus, said he is working "very closely" with the Tupac estate on the project. "It just made sense to put him in this game, because his likeness and his spirit still lives on. I just felt like it was so connected to what we’re doing," he said. RGG Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama told Game Informer magazine that the team sought approval both from the estate and Shakur's surviving family. Tupac's Estate And Controversy Tupac's inclusion is less surprising to Gerstmann given the involvement of Snoop, who has been omnipresent in pop culture over the years, from Super Bowl ads to carrying the Olympic torch. "As much as Snoop Dogg has had a storied and legendary career and put out a lot of great music, he has not been the most choosy with the projects that he affiliates himself with over the years," he said. Gerstmann worries, though, that if Shakur's likeness were to make more frequent posthumous appearances, "it cheapens the mystique" around even such a legendary artist. Shakur's estate is currently controlled by music executive Tom Whalley, who worked with the rapper before his death. Shakur's mother, activist Afeni Shakur, was the estate's previous executor before her death in 2016. In 2022, Shakur's sister sued Whalley, accusing him of "blatant violations" of his executor's duties, including embezzling millions of dollars and withholding personal items of "tremendous sentimental value," according to multiple reports. That estate has been behind some of the more controversial recent uses of Tupac's likeness, including a series of photos sold as NFTs in 2021. "You're left with the impression that Tupac's estate is not being governed with the most respect and care for that legacy," said Gerstmann. Is Tupac appearing in a game in 2026 cool? Lex Luddy, a games journalist based in Ireland, says RGG Studio's games have built a reputation over the years of making games that are "inherently very cool." But that reputation has taken a hit in recent years, and its output has become less consistent since the departure of its previous designer and chief creative officer Toshihiro Nagoshi in 2021. "The featuring of Tupac feels very out of touch in a way that ... doesn't make them look good," she said. Luddy noted that this isn't the first digital recreation of Tupac, pointing to the artist's infamous so-called hologram performance at Coachella 2012. But she said these conversations are becoming "a lot more contentious" now that AI-generated videos have become more advanced, and anxieties have grown around just how widely the dead can be reanimated into the future. Jeffrey Ogbar, a history professor and founding director of the Center for the Study of Popular Music at the University of Connecticut, says it's not unusual to raise questions as people find new ways to represent larger-than-life personalities who have since died. "As these new technologies emerge … it may take some adjustment to become comfortable with how we might re-imagine deceased figures. But we've had this, I think, all through history," he said, pointing to portraits, sculptures, even poems and songs as similar expressions. From Gangster Rap To Yakuza Drama Luddy also noted that featuring Shakur in a game like Stranger Than Heaven could be read as distasteful, given its focus on gangland crime, even if early 20th-century Japan is a long way from the U.S. West Coast in the '90s. "I don't think they've fully thought through the implications of that," she said. Ogbar — who met a young Shakur at a college event in 1990 — has expressed disappointment at Shakur's outsized popular association with his years focusing on gangster rap, compared with his earlier work, which rang louder with his socially progressive, revolutionary politics. But he said Shakur's complicated history "allows us to, in some ways, pick and choose what part of his politics we want to amplify." Ogbar said Shakur's "hyperbolic and boastful" gangster rap persona could be a good fit with Stranger Than Heaven, which previews show to be full of stylish, yet bloody street-level brawling. Gerstmann came away impressed after playing a demonstration of the game that was offered to games media, saying it's offering a new and "dramatically different" approach to hand-to-hand combat compared with RGG Studio's previous titles. "I think they're doing a really neat thing here, and maybe once people are done talking about Tupac, we'll have some actual interest in the game itself." Justin Trudeau And Katy Perry Take Their Romance To The Red Carpet Pop Star And Former PM Attend Debut Of Her Concert Film At Tribeca Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have taken their relationship to the red carpet, smiling and canoodling for the cameras at New York's Tribeca Film Festival on Monday evening. The pop star and former prime minister looked cozy — caressing each other and affectionately touching foreheads at the premiere of her concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris. Their warm displays of affection were tempered by more reserved outfits — Perry, draped in a Grecian-inspired white halter gown accented with rose embellishments while Trudeau kept things classic in a black suit paired with a white, open-collar shirt. But Trudeau couldn't resist gushing about his girlfriend to reporters. "I saw the show three times but I wasn’t paying attention to anything but Katy, so I'm looking forward to seeing the show now for the first time,” he joked to Entertainment Tonight. Trudeau, 54, and the California Gurls hitmaker, 41, were first romantically linked back in July when they were spotted walking together in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park with Perry’s dog and, later, sharing dinner and drinks that evening. That outing came shortly after Perry and her then-longtime fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, announced they were separating after seven years together. The former couple share a daughter. After photos surfaced in early October showing Perry and Trudeau embracing aboard the singer's yacht off the coast of her hometown of Santa Barbara Calif., the high-profile pair effectively acknowledged their relationship on Instagram when the pop star shared photos of herself alongside Trudeau during his visit to Japan. Since then, they've been photographed together at events including an exclusive Netflix screening party and Coachella. Trudeau, who stepped down as prime minister in March 2025, was previously married to Sophie Gregoire. The pair announced their separation in the summer of 2023 after an 18-year relationship and three children. Trudeau’s eldest son, Xavier, who is an aspiring musician, recently told the Can’t Be Censored podcast that he often turns to Perry for feedback on his music. "When I’m really happy with a song, [I] sent it to [her]," he said. "She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change," he said. 📺 CBS News Sires Veteran 60 Minutes Correspondent Scott Pelley After Clash With New Leadership Pelley, With CBS For Nearly 40 years, Had Reported For The Show Since 2004 cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… 👆 👇 In his first interview since being fired from 60 Minutes, veteran journalist Scott Pelley detailed his allegations of political interference and bias from CBS management. CBS News has confirmed it fired veteran 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley in the wake of a publicly disclosed clash with new executive producer Nick Bilton. A letter sent from Bilton to Pelley that CBC News has seen stated the veteran correspondent had "hijacked" Bilton's first meeting with staff a day earlier. "Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear. And I have heard you," Bilton said in the letter, which informed Pelley that his employment is being terminated for cause "effective immediately." The meeting in question occurred Monday morning and details soon leaked to media. During the meeting, Pelley said CBS News head Bari Weiss was "murdering the show" and accused Bilton of having "slender qualifications" for the job, according to reports. Bilton's appointment to the top job had only been announced last week. 👀 WATCH | Scott Pelley suggests his firing was political: 👇 cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… 👆 ~ Longtime 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley's firing after a high-profile blowup with new management is raising more concern about journalistic freedom under CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss and CBS's Trump-aligned owner David Ellison. ~ Pelley, 68, said in a statement obtained by The Associated Press that 60 Minutes has lost its way under new management. He accused them of asking him to "inject falsehoods and bias" into his work, without sharing specific details. "Now, the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside, apparently to curry a moment of favour with the Trump administration," he said in the statement. Pelley joined CBS in 1989 and rose through the network's ranks, serving as chief White House correspondent and as the network's evening news anchor between 2011 and 2017. He had been a 60 Minutes correspondent since 2004. 📺 Recent clashes on the show The show debuted in 1968, and for a number of seasons was top ranked in U.S. television with its lineup of correspondents, including Mike Wallace and Canadian Morley Safer. But it has endured a tumultuous past two years. CBS's parent, Paramount, paid $16 million US to settle a lawsuit with U.S. President Donald Trump after he complained that a 60 Minutes interview with Democrat Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential campaign was unfairly edited. After Paramount was purchased by SkyDance, new owner David Ellison tapped Weiss, founder of the Free Press website, to lead CBS's news division late last year. Just weeks into her role, Weiss prevented a show segment on the Trump administration's sending of deportees to a harsh El Salvador prison from airing in the U.S. The last-minute decision came after Global News had already obtained the original copy of the show. The segment aired in. WATCH | Canadian viewers see 60 Minutes segment delayed in U.S.: 👇👇 cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… ~ CBS postponed the airing of a 60 Minutes piece about El Salvador's CECOT prison, but the segment briefly appeared on Global TV’s free website and app. CBS editor-in-chief Bari Weiss caused controversy when she delayed the story just hours before it was set to air, looking to include more of the Trump administration's perspective. ~ Sharyn Alfonsi, who reported the El Salvador segment, complained publicly about what she viewed as unprecedented executive meddling into the network's premier news shows. Weiss said the original segment didn't have enough balance and Trump administration comment. The segment aired several weeks later in the U.S.. Alfonsi and fellow correspondent Cecilia Vega were both let go from 60 Minutes in the past several days. Anderson Cooper, a show presence for two decades, announced last month he was leaving the show, citing a desire to spend more time with his children. Bilton, like Weiss, was seen as an unconventional choice for their current role. He'd never worked at a news division, spending time as a print journalist for Vanity Fair and a producer of films and documentaries, including The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, about disgraced CEO Elizabeth Holmes. Meanwhile, Trump has been interviewed on 60 Minutes twice since his lawsuit, with some critics arguing the editing of those segments was not substantially different in substance from what had occurred with Harris. ~ With files from The Associated Press Read This Full Article Here: cbc.ca/news/world/scott-pell… #CBSNews #60Minutes #Correspondent #ScottPelley #NewLeadership #deportees #ElSalvador #Prison #GlobalNews #Pelley #CBS #AndersonCooper #Producers #Documentaries #Series #Trump CBC News · Posted: Jun 02, 2026 11:59 PM NDT Last Updated: June 8

🕊️ Talay Riley, Songwriter for Britney Spears And Dua Lipa, Dead at 35 After Stabbing Incident 🎵 A British songwriter by the name of Talay Riley—who worked with Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Khalid and more over the years—was killed in a stabbing incident on June 5 at the age of 35, police confirmed. Talay Riley’s loved ones have been left in shock. The songwriter—real name Mark Orabiyi—was killed in a stabbing incident in east London’s Silvertown on June 5, according to the Metropolitan Police. He was 35. Police were called to Silvertown on reports that a man had been stabbed and, upon arriving at the scene, found Orabiyi suffering from wounds in the garden of a nearby property. While paramedics responded to his injuries, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police reported that another man in his 20s—whose name they did not share—was taken to a nearby hospital, with police confirming his wounds were believed to be non-life-threatening. Following the incident, two men aged 27 and 25 and one 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. In a June 7 update, police confirmed the 27-year-old man had been released on bail pending further inquiries, and that the other two individuals had been released with no further action. “Our investigation continues at pace,” Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke shared in the statement. “I would like to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident to speak to police. We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might have CCTV or other footage from the morning of the incident that could assist our investigation.” She added, “This is a tragic incident and my thoughts remain with Mark’s family and loved ones.” Following Orabiyi’s tragic death, his brother Michael Orabiyi—a songwriter and producer known as Scribz Riley—recalled what would become their last conversation. “My heart is shattered! This doesn’t feel real. It feels like a bad dream,” he captioned a June 7 post. “Just before he went to sleep we spoke about the future, staying positive and about everything we still had left to do. I never imagined that would be our last conversation.” His brother, who included photos of Orabiyi from over the years in his post, continued, “He had one of the purest hearts I’ve ever known. He loved deeply, gave freely, and touched countless people through his talent, kindness, and spirit. The outpouring of love already shows how many lives he impacted.” Throughout his career as a singer-songwriter, Orabiyi worked with many fellow celebrities including Zendaya, Britney Spears (“Clumsy”), Dua Lipa (“Last Dance”) and Khalid (“Young Dumb & Broke”), with many artists expressing their sadness over his untimely passing. “Big hugs scribz i’m so sorry,” wrote Kehlani in the comment section of the tribute, while Ella Mai added, “sending so much love & light your way.” Meanwhile, Orabiyi’s family said in an additional statement they will always remember him for his “his kindness, beautiful spirit, and remarkable talent.” "Mark was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He brought love, light, and joy to our family and to all who knew him,” they added in the statement shared by the Metropolitan Police. “His presence touched many lives, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever. May his soul rest in perfect peace.” Read this article here: eonline.com/news/1432739/bri… By Hayley Santaflorentina Jun 08, 2026 10:06 AM| Updated: 8 hours ago #TalayRiley #Stabbed #Murdered #BritishNews #songwriter #Music

🎾 'Maybe Serena': How A Text Message Led To A Partnership Of A Lifetime For Victoria Mboko 👟 👟Canadian Star Will Play Doubles With Serena Williams At The Upcoming Queen's Club Tournament🎾 Victoria Mboko was at a tennis tournament in France last month when she got an unexpected notification. It was the morning before a match, and Mboko's phone said the text message was from someone "maybe" named "Serena." "It could be anyone," Mboko thought. The message was from Serena Williams, arguably the greatest female tennis player of all time, and she was asking 19-year-old Mboko to be her doubles partner. "How could I decline that?" Mboko said in an exclusive interview on Friday with CBC Sports host Anastasia Bucsis. Mboko will be alongside Williams for the legend's much-anticipated return to competitive tennis at the HSBC Championships at The Queen's Club in West Kensington, London, next week. The women's doubles tournament begins on Monday, and the final is set for June 14. WATCH | 'She texted me': How Mboko became Williams' doubles partner: 👇 cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7… 👆👆 ~ CBC Sports' Anastasia Bucsis speaks with Canadian tennis player Victoria Mboko about joining forces with her new doubles partner Serena Williams. ~ It's the latest highlight in what has been an ascendant rise over the past year for Burlington, Ont.'s Mboko. She was ranked 85th heading into the National Bank Open on home soil last summer, only to take down formerly top-ranked Naomi Osaka in the final to win the women's singles title. Mboko is now the ninth-ranked woman in the world, and the top-ranked Canadian woman. Her star only continues to rise. "I think I just keep on surprising myself every month," Mboko told Bucsis. "It’s just a lot of exciting things that keep happening." Playing with Williams, who's won 23 Grand Slam singles titles and 14 Grand Slam doubles championships, will surely be a career highlight. Mboko sees lots to learn from a player she's long considered an idol. "I feel really honoured to be playing with someone of her calibre," she said. "I personally think she’s the greatest women’s athlete of all time." First Competitive Match For Williams Since 2022 Williams and Mboko have hit together just once since the partnership was publicly confirmed earlier this week. They'll hit the court together again on Saturday, ahead of next week's tournament. "When I was practising with her, I was kind of focused on trying to have a good ball to hit against her and hopefully she admired the way I was hitting," Mboko said. "When I think about it, though, I couldn’t imagine how much experience she has and how many times she’s probably been in so many different situations." The 44-year-old Williams accepted a wild card to play at The Queen's Club's grass-court tournament, after announcing in 2022 that she was "evolving" away from competitive tennis. Her last competitive match was at the 2022 U.S. Open. Williams will also play doubles at the Berlin Tennis Open later in June. Her partner for that event hasn't been announced yet. As for Mboko, she doesn't plan to change the approach that's helped her skyrocket up the WTA singles rankings. Every time she plays, it's all or nothing. "I just want to be myself," she said. "I guess she chose me for a reason, so why should I change something up? I think I’m just going to go out on court and try to play my game. She’ll play her game and maybe we’ll be a great pair. Hopefully we’ll collab very well." ABOUT THE AUTHOR Karissa Donkin Karissa Donkin is a reporter with CBC Sports who covers the PWHL, women's hockey and lots more. ❌ CFIA Announces Temporary Ban of Texas Livestock To Prevent Spread of Screwworm ❌ 🪱Flesh-Eating Parasite Was Recently Discovered In A Calf In Texas🪱 The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced on Friday that it would temporarily restrict livestock from entering Canada from affected parts of the United States, after screwworm, a flesh-eating parasite, was detected in a calf in Texas. Animals, including horses, that have been in Texas within the past 21 days will not be allowed to cross the Canadian border, the CFIA said in a news release. The move comes after U.S. officials on Wednesday announced that New World screwworm had been found in Texas — the first such case in the United States since the 1960s. Endemic to South America and the Caribbean, the flesh-eating larvae of this parasitic fly burrow into skin to feed on living tissue of an animal host, which can — on rare occasions — include humans. A highly successful eradication program wiped out screwworm from North and Central America by the mid 2000s. But since 2024 an outbreak of the parasite has spread among livestock in Mexico. Several U.S. states are also taking precautionary measures to limit the risk of spread, the CFIA noted, adding it was working closely with American officials. While the parasite is unlikely to become established in Canada, the CFIA urged animal owners to remain vigilant. "While our colder climate is not hospitable for the long-term establishment of the fly in Canada, they can survive shorter periods of time in the summer months," it wrote. "Animal owners and veterinarians are encouraged to be on the lookout for signs of screwworm infestations in livestock. A wound that worsens over time and is accompanied by discharge or foul odour is also usually observed." New World screwworm is an immediately notifiable disease under the Health of Animals Act, meaning that owners should contact a veterinarian if they suspect an infestation. Identification can only be confirmed by a laboratory, which would then be required to notify the CFIA. 💻 That Hot Person On LinkedIn Offering You A 'too good to be true' job? It might be a Chinese spy OTTAWA — That hot person who reached out on LinkedIn or Indeed to offer you a job that feels “too good to be true”? They may be a Chinese intelligence agent, warns Canada’s spy agency. In a new advisory with its Five Eyes intelligence sharing partners , 👇👇 canada.ca/en/security-intell… 👆👆 the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) sounded the alarm Wednesday on an increasingly popular method for Chinese spies to steal information from Canadians: online hiring websites. The warning comes as Prime Minister Mark Carney looks to increase trade ties with China and establish a new “strategic partnership” with the Asian economic behemoth after years of diplomatic chill. “China’s military intelligence is using an increasingly wide array of professional networking sites and online job platforms to target Five Eyes government and military personnel—and anyone with access to classified or privileged information,” reads the advisory. “Successful candidates are pressured to provide ‘non-public’ information for unspecified clients who are associated with the Chinese government. Chinese military intelligence services ultimately seek to acquire privileged military, political and economic intelligence that can provide China with a strategic and tactical advantage over the Five Eyes,” it continues. It’s not the first time that CSIS has warned of foreign spies posing as online job recruiters, but the tone and depth of the advisory suggest the scheme is increasingly successful — and problematic for Western governments. According to the advisory, Chinese spies are looking to covertly recruit people who hold security clearances within their respective governments, military personnel or individuals with “indirect or peripheral” access to government information such as academics, journalists or researchers. The scheme is simple and yet effective enough for Five Eyes intelligence agencies (Canada, U.S., U.K., Australia and New Zealand) to feel the need to warn their citizens of it. According to the advisory, Chinese spies pose as recruiters or consultants on websites such as LinkedIn, Indeed or freelance work boards and claim to work for fake “cover companies” based anywhere but China. Usually, the profile picture shows an attractive individual with a common name who appears to be young but holds an uncharacteristically senior job title, CSIS warned. They either post jobs looking for individuals with geopolitical, national security or defence expertise, or reach out to such people offering them freelance work. The job posts or offers are often generic, rife with spelling errors and “too good to be true,” the advisory said. They also offer to pay using unconventional methods such as cryptocurrency and promise more money for “non-public information”, CSIS warned. After making contact, the recruiters tend to offer an interview where they start probing for information or looking for contacts in sensitive sectors or government. They’ll generally also ask targets to do an initial test report before being told that subsequent reports will require “more privileged information,” which comes with more money. Though not all targets will have classified information they can share, even unclassified or private information on government is of great interest to Chinese spies, CSIS said. “While applicants often have no direct access to classified information, even unclassified information on government policy, or on military strategy, capabilities and installations, can be collected and combined with more sensitive reporting to form a comprehensive operational picture,” reads the advisory. “Certain types of data can place the lives of frontline military or other personnel at risk, can weaken our economic prosperity, and enable interference in our democratic processes.” National Post cnardi@postmedia.com Read This Full Article Here: msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/th… #HotPerson #LinkedIn #Job #Chinesespy #ChineseIntelligence #Agent #CanadaSpyAgency #FiveEyesIntelligence #SharingPpartners #Canadian #Security #Intelligence #Service #CSIS #Chinese #Spies #stealinformation #Canadians #OnlineHiring #WebSites #China #Canada #LinkedIn #Advisory

"Jailhouse Rock" is one of the most iconic songs in Rock History, performed by Elvis Presley and written by the songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller in 1957 for the film of the same name, in which Elvis starred. It was recorded on April 30, 1957, in Los Angeles and released as a single on September 24 of that year. It became an instant hit, it reached number 1 in the United States for seven weeks and also topped the charts in the United Kingdom. The lyrics describe an imaginary party inside a prison, set to a catchy and energetic beat. The film includes a famous dance sequence in which Elvis and the prisoners dance to the song, which has become one of the most iconic moments in 50s musical cinema. Both the song and the film helped cement Elvis’s status as the King of Rock and Roll and remain absolute classics of popular culture.
