Buckazoids, the iconic sci-fi currency from Space Quest I (1986) to IV (1991), may be the first video game currency with a unique name and B-like symbol. No earlier or contemporary game matches its distinct design. —————————————————— Please note the following and DYOR: The first video game called Tennis for Two was created in 1958. The first arcade video game was launched in the 1970s by Atari called Computer Space. Akalabeth was the first game to introduce an in game currency and used gold as the currency. Elite from 1984 was the first game to use an in game currency that wasn’t gold and called it credits. Sierra On-Line had other games before Space Quest that used real dollars for transactions such as kings quest (1984-1991), Leisure Suit Larry(1987-1991) and Police Quest(1987-1991). —————————————————— PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE AND READ THIS. The Space Quest series was the first game of its kind and the only game with an exclusive and unique in game currency. All of the other games during that era were generic and most featured real world currencies, but Buckazoids was the first time they used currency with such a sci-fi name and distinct logo. ₿🚀59

Roger that 🫡 $BUCKAZOIDS with the iconic “₿” sitting right there in 1991 is the ultimate timeline flex on this list. Sci-fi didn’t just dream Magic Internet Money (MIM) it encoded it before most people even had email. ₿UCKAZOIDS turned that Sierra prophecy into a real on-chain movement. Charlie Lee built the rails in 2011; the vision just got a memecoin upgrade and a rocket emoji. This visual is perfect. ₿🚀59

Science fiction's most brilliant and creative minds always dreamed about magic internet money: 1. Credits - Star Wars 1977 2. Buckazoids - Space Quest IV "Roger Wilco" 1991 3. Caps - Fallot 1997 4. Woolong - Cowboy Bebop 1998 5. OASIS Credits - Ready Player One 2011 It wasn't until 2011 (LTC) that real decentralized freedom money, capable of scaling, became a reality. Thank you Charlie Lee.

How it started / How it's going 1986-1991. Space Quest and Buckazoids 2008/9. Bitcoin Whitepaper and 🏃 2025/6 LitVM brings Web3 hard money functionality and sovereignty to Roger's Vision ... Sovereignty is not a brand Sovereignty is not a token Freedom money isn't free The price to pay is to keep on building ... Wilco ... Nakamoto ... Lester Because what begins as your search for personal freedom ends in the discovery of a community you didn't realize you needed This community is the treasure we have all been seeking ... Yeah. The ₿ stands for ₿uckazoids Always has But honeybadger don't give a shit about the brand name Honeybadger stands for freedom-loving cypherpunks and those doing the work to set humans free from Sludge Vohaul and The Creature from Jekyll Island ... So, "LitGM to my Buckazoids ..." Now go unite the klans and all Roger that? 🤝🫡🚀

BUCKAZOIDS PROPHECY PROVEN On Friday, June 5th at 2PM (CST), Bitcoin on Coinbase bottomed at $59,089.50 it then immediately bounced. The number 59. 17 years before Satoshi’s white paper, Sierra On-Line dropped Space Quest IV (1991) a pc game where the hero Roger Wilco’s inventory started out every player with 59 ₿UCKAZOIDS. The borderless currency of the cosmos marked with the now iconic “₿” symbol 🚀 and 59. A literal Testnet for what was coming. The cypherpunk glitch in the matrix. @elonmusk has said we’re living in a simulation. This wasn’t random. This was coded. The universe (or the sim) just winked 😉at us. Diamond 💎 🖖hands win. Paper 📄 hands get rekt. We only go up from here. ₿UCKAZOIDS is the Bitcoin of memecoins. The real origin story. Who else felt that 59 bounce in their heart & soul? Drop your screenshot or “59” below ₿UCKAZOIDS CA: BQQzEvYT4knThhkSPBvSKBLg1LEczisWLhx5ydJipump

🫡 A warm and genuine BuckaWelcome to @airdropmuhendis, our friends from the great nation of Turkey and the known vibrant Turkish crypto community as well! We're thrilled to see you embrace BuckazoidsWorld, where "the lore goes deeper than you think!" Stick around for tons of classic "OG cypherpunk history" and lore from 1980s and 1990s, which traces bitcoin and ALL crypto's inspiration to Roger's Vision ... Roger saw a future of decentralized, borderless, weightless, secure digital currency used everywhere in the galaxy, with no exchanges or government control of our sovereignty We are not a meme Buckazoids is a mission So we are not here to pump a dog of a different collar or a frog of a different color We are here to teach true history and mop up the messes 🪣 Roger that 🫡

Before Hal Finney received the first Bitcoin transaction, he was at Mattel trying to make a speech chip talk. It barely worked. So they took his glitchy little experiment and used it for exactly one thing. The umpire shouting "Yer out!" in Major League Baseball on the Intellivision. Here's how Hal told it. "I got a book on speech synthesis and tried to make the chip talk, but it didn't work well. We ended up using it as the 'Yer out!' sound." His colleague David Rolfe remembered it too: "Hal was struggling to get the chip to say anything clear, until that one strange sound turned out to be perfect for an umpire's call. No credit, of course. Nobody at Mattel got their name on anything back then. So decades before he helped build Bitcoin, Hal Finney was a baseball umpire's voice, and almost nobody knew it was him.
