Anyone who is the main carer for someone with #MND or any other serious neurological illness can get vaccinated as a priority (after more clinically vulnerable people: may not be immediate).You need to make sure you are registered with your GP as a carer @SYMNDA @SandraSmithmnd

1/3: Hi Kirsty, JCVI guidance states that unpaid carers in priority group 6 for the COVID-19 vaccine includes "those who are in receipt of a carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer falls ill".

Yesterday London’s ICU capacity was 86%. Of its pre-covid critical care capacity this would = 135% The responsiveness, preparedness, flexibility and collaborative working by the NHS has been phenomenal. Once again with very little we have stepped up to serve patients best we can
