This attitude is even more necessary now than at any other point in history, with the annihilation of a liveable biosphere at stake. We ALL need to become troublemakers: for humanity, and for the rest of life on our precious miracle of a planet. 💪🏽🌍
Benjamin Zephaniah "If you didn't have troublemakers, most women wouldn't have the right to vote, a black person wouldn't be talking to a white person and I'd be back in slavery. We need troublemakers to challenge the establishment. I want to be one of those people."

What are we doing? All of this grass cutting is SO unnecessary. It's common practice throughout the country. We lose so much life to this rubbish, and we also waste money and time. Can we not embrace nature? Before it's too late for both it and us.
It never stops! This wonderful little roadside haven, full of bee orchids, has now mown and everything destroyed, even before they could set seed. Many thanks to @DomMcGrath47 for the location and 2nd photo. I would like to think the mower had no idea. @Corkcoco @corkcitycouncil

What specifically @fergusodowd in Derelict Sites Act 1990, Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act 1964, or Protected Structures laws is holding councils back from keeping our streets safe from collapsing buildings? The myth that we need new laws was busted #derelictireland 1/6

If you want to read @pluralitybook in novel form, with a European setting, @MandaScott has delivered it to us: mandascott.co.uk/any-human-p…. Surely divine providence that it comes at the same time and shines such a brilliant light on the thin path between rage and stasis.

11. This is what approaching the Statue of Unity in India looks like. It's the tallest statue in the world: standing at 182 meters (597 ft) tall, it's nearly three times the height of the Statue of Liberty.

6. Not the most amazing statue, but definitely an amazing story. In Istanbul, Turkey, they made a statue to honor the famous stray cat (Tombili) that used to sit in this position and watch the passers by.
