LIVE ON BITTENSOR: Ninja, Subnet 66, launches a new agent competition with incentives tuned to real-world agent usage, pushing miners toward agents that perform actual work. Its next release, codenamed Katana, extends the stack beyond Bittensor-native users.
Ninja’s new agent competition is live. We’ve moved the incentive mechanism closer to real-world agent usage. The closer the competition gets to how agents are actually used, the faster miners produce agents that get better at real-world work. Our next release, codenamed Katana, is the next piece of the stack. We think miners will love it. We think people who’ve never even heard of Bittensor will find it useful too. Soon.

AI peeps, you can pivot back to crypto now. In fact, you might have to if you want to work on AGI.

Not impossible, but definitely requires factories on the Moon and Mars to achieve. By then, I don’t think dollars will be used as currency. Just mass and energy.

Open source and bittensor:native will solve the single-point model dependency problem.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Unstoppable, uncensorable, global decentralized AI seems like a good investment bet to make. The “Bitcoin of AI” so to say…

Anthropic is today’s headline. Sovereignty is the real story. Sovereignty extends beyond governments. It applies to individuals, communities, and enterprises. The moment a critical technology can be restricted, controlled, or withdrawn by someone else, you’re no longer in control of your own future. This is why decentralized AI matters. bittensor:native

Bittensor's core job is to distribute TAO emissions in the most productive way possible to maximize the value returned to TAO holders. Today, it does that by routing emissions toward the best subnets as determined by the market. No other protocol has tried this before, so there are naturally going to be many iterations. We're constantly searching for better mechanisms for allocating capital and incentives. I don't think anyone should want ossification around a suboptimal design. Also, Revolution introduced subnets in October 2023, and Dynamic TAO, which gave every subnet its own token, was implemented a little over a year ago. The network is still incredibly young.

think bottom line with tao is why are they still redesigning value accrual six years later? tao governance model makes changes retroactively on the fly - below is just one example x.com/AlgodTrading/status/20…

There’s only one ecosystem that’s spent the last 3 years working on building the entire stack required to produce intelligence with no reliance on centralized companies Bittensor has been preparing to go to war for a while now

on sept 15 2008, lehman brothers collapsed and gave the whole world a reason to believe in $BTC on june 12 2026, a single government order forced anthropic to pull its most capable models offline for every foreign national on earth, and gave the whole world a reason to believe in bittensor:native humans only react to negative things. sad but true. in 2008 we learned the banks were the problem. in 2026 we’ll learn that one kill switch sitting inside a centralised AI lab is the problem.

Still learning about #Bittensor, but so far this is the first thing since $BTC, and maybe Ethereum, that genuinely feels different. Bitcoin was decentralized money. Ethereum was decentralized finance. Could bittensor:native become decentralized intelligence? That’s the thesis I’m betting on anyway, after watching some of @Jason's pods and following @proofoftalk, so I’ve rotated roughly $100K worth of Bitcoin into bittensor:native. Just in case it catches on. 9% APY definitely helps too btw ⚔️

The best teachers will be LLMs. The best feedback will be monetary. The best models will train competitively. The best AI company will be co-owned. The best software will be open source. And there is only one way to get all of it.
