🇲🇨 Part 2. Monaco. Waib Summit 🇲🇨 Why @waibsummit > @token2049? Now for the conference. Went to the WAIB Summit. Didn’t have any expectations. It was only the second edition of the conference. But I was pleasantly surprised. Yeah, like any conference, lots of service companies. But instead of the usual marketing agencies and listing services, almost everything was RWA and tokenization focused: • Tokenization consultants • Asset tokenization infrastructure • RWA platforms • Legal and structuring solutions Most interesting part: tons of people from traditional finance. Wealth managers, family office consultants, investment advisors. Talking to them was often more valuable than chatting with typical crypto folks. Found some seriously useful contacts That said, I didn’t work the event 100% I had major stuff going on with @turtledotxyz and didn’t network as much as I wanted But even with that, average attendee quality felt higher than most big crypto conferences I've been to. For a conference only in its second year, pretty impressive. One issue: price Tickets were ~$700-800 If you don’t have a plan for the conference, it’s better not to attend. Your leads should be converted into clients! Bottom line: If your goal is family offices, wealth managers, and TradFi/crypto crossover - @waibsummit is worth it. If you want strategic partnerships and collabs with other crypto projects? @token2049 and similar crypto conferences are better.
🇲🇨 First time in Monaco 🇲🇨 Thanks, @waibsummit! Quick trip report: First impression: Monaco feels like it's built from three things: • Restaurants • Banks and wealth management firms • Real estate agencies That's basically the whole economy. Monaco is tiny (only ~500 acres) but you can easily spend a full day exploring. Every other car is a supercar. Important: Monte Carlo isn't all of Monaco. It's just one district - the iconic center with the casino, luxury hotels, and narrow streets. We came right after Formula 1, so half the streets were still wrapped in barriers and fencing. Prices hit hard. Main course at a restaurant starts at €35-40. Finding anything cheaper is a challenge. Casual dinner for two without extras? ~€100. Add wine or cocktails and you're easily at €150-200 . Languages: French obviously, but heard Russian and Italian everywhere. Russian more than expected. Part 2 coming... Why Waib Summit > Token2049?

Easy $SPCX short in 5-6 months? IPOs caught the crypto tokenomics disease The crypto plague finally reached public markets IPOs are looking more like TGEs every day Back in the day, companies went public and gave the market 20-40% of shares Now? Instacart ( $CART ), Klaviyo ( $KVYO ), Arm ( $ARM ) all IPO'd with 8-9% float. SpaceX ( $SPCX ) might go even lower: ~4-5% float at $1.75T valuation. We've seen this movie in crypto 100 times: low float → tiny supply → insane FDV → listing pump → everyone screams "moon" → unlocks begin → bleed Except now it's SpaceX shares instead of new L1 / L2 The mechanics are simple: When supply is tiny and demand is massive, price gets pushed way above reasonable valuation. Not because the business is actually worth $1.75T. But because only a tiny piece hits the market, creating artificial scarcity. Then comes the fun part: Lock-ups expire. Insiders dump. More shares flood the market. All that supply flows into the same market that pumped the price at launch. IPOs = TGEs for people in suits OpenAI and Anthropic will run the exact same playbook: → tiny float → scarcity theater → AGI hype → insane FDV → supply drip near the highs Low float is the new IPO meta $SPCX short in 6 months? Boomers stole zoomer tokenomics NFA :)

Tier-2 OTC deals = obvious scams 🚨 Stop falling for "exclusive" discounts. Here's what actually happens: 1️⃣ $FF Q1 2026: Big OTC round closes Late March: Supply fully sold Smart investors? Hedged with perp shorts April 10: $FF pumps 150% out of nowhere No news. No announcement. Just a crime pump designed to liquidate shorts 📉 OTC buyers holding locked bags while team cashes out 2️⃣ $ESPORTS April: Team selling hard via OTC desks • $500k minimum • 40% discount • 3-month cliff Sounds good? May 25: -99% dump Didn't hedge? You got rugged. Simple as that. 3️⃣ $LAB Read what happened to @piggybank_fi They bought $100k of locked $LAB at a "discount" $LAB team pumped the price to liquidate "smart investors" ——— The pattern: You buy locked tokens at 40-50% discount Team gets liquid cash immediately They pump the chart to attract retail Then dump on everyone while your tokens are still locked You're exit liquidity with a 3-month delay OTC deals aren't alpha. They're a trap.
Dear Community, - One month ago, PiggyBank got into a new position for $100k (~2% of the portfolio at the time), as part of the strategy’s scope of deploying into mid-cap basis trades. - The strategy involved purchasing locked $LAB tokens at a significant discount through a Tier-1 OTC desk and hedging that exposure through perpetual shorts. During the holding period, $LAB experienced violent manipulation, including chaotic price movements on thin liquidity, and deeply negative funding rates. - Maintaining the hedge became economically irrational and would have caused us to cross our risk thresholds. We therefore decided to close our short to cap the downside. - In accounting terms, the total value of our $LAB locked position is $1.35m at current prices. However, due to the illiquid nature of this position, Piggybank is excluding it from the NAV until the first unlock on August 14. Even though this is an evolving situation that could still generate substantial returns, this is the fairest and most transparent way to let users manage their liquidity. - Accordingly, today’s NAV will show a ~15% drawdown on the USDC vault, ~12% on SPYx and ~9% on JitoSOL. - A detailed report will be published next week with next steps.

Concentration > diversification Came across a solid @NetworkMedici podcast with @hypersphere_ founder @jackbplatts Jack dropped something important: There are 3 ways to outperform hedge funds: 1️⃣ leverage 2️⃣ illiquid strategies 3️⃣ concentration My take on each: 1️⃣ Leverage When you use leverage, you're not just betting on your idea. You're betting the system won't break. • The exchange won't crash. • Market makers won't disappear. • Liquidations won't cascade. • Infrastructure won't fail at the worst possible moment. Hello, October 10th. Leverage is never free! 2️⃣ Illiquid strategies Memes, small arbs, micro-cap shitcoins, market inefficiencies... Yeah, you can hit 100% returns on small size But the problem: can't scale capital into it And as markets mature, these obvious inefficiencies disappear. Dead-end strategy long-term if you want to scale 3️⃣ Concentration For real 50% returns you can't spray capital across 50 ideas and pray. Diversification only works in a bull when everything rips In a bear you need to find 1-2 strong convictions and put serious size behind it Usually 25% of capital As Stanley Druckenmiller said: "Put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket carefully" Diversification protects you from being stupid Concentration makes you rich P.S. Caught the $HYPE trade but didn't size it properly. Missed $LIT and $NEAR completely. What now? Waiting for the next narrative... My current setup: mostly concentration with some illiquid plays on the side

Perps addiction - activated New entries: $NEAR and $LIT 1️⃣ $NEAR Entry: 1.885 / 1.57 Stop: 1.311 Targets: 4.48 ; 5.2 Risk/Reward ratio : 1:6 Pump thesis: CT cabal is pretending privacy is the new narrative and we suddenly need it. Crime pump just like $ZEC 2️⃣ $LIT Entry: 1.19 Stop: 0.97 Targets: 1.65 ; 2.6 Risk/Reward ratio : 1:3 Pump thesis: The US venture cabal wants to pump its bags. If not now, when do they convince the crowd that $LIT should be worth at least 1/10 of $HYPE’s market cap? Limit orders for NEAR and LIT already set

I’m not a security expert But I do trust the opsec/security experts here, @PabloSabbatella Most recent hacks don’t come from the codebase itself, but from poor opsec among core team members
PSA: I now consider *all* of DeFi unsafe. Coding agents are superhuman at finding vulnerabilities, and smart contract security is too asymmetric: defenders need to fix every bug while attackers need just one exploit to steal funds.

$POLY airdrop IPO 2 questions: 1️⃣ Why are teams still rage-biting with airdrops? 2 of the most obvious $POLY engagement farming posts are being pushed like they're dropping a checker tomorrow... 2️⃣ Funniest part is how they hyped the "countdown" timer for $POLY IPO from TradingView. Same exact countdown is on ALL pre-IPO companies (Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceX, etc.). So we're getting 10 IPOs on Dec 31?)) Back in October 2024, Polymarket's CMO @MatthewModabber confirmed the token. Core team members said there will be both IPO and token 👇 Why is CT still falling for this?
Stopped by @mustafap0ly desk today..

I don’t like $STRC products Why? Marketing feels too aggressive and weird It gives me MMM / ponzi vibes But… I still think @saturn_credit and @apyx_fi are among the most interesting DeFi plays on the market rn I don’t want to farm points I want real yield with lower risk So let’s use farmers’ greed: PT-USDat-27AUG2026 → 9.3% APY • $USDat is backed by T-Bills • No $STRC price exposure • Degens gamble on Saturn points • We extract almost double-digit yield from treasuries Interesting fact: Even @strata_markets srUSDat tranche offers 7.8% APY, while PTs are close to double digits After $AI, $MEGA and $CHIP ICO exits, I’m deploying part of my stables into these PTs
🔥 USDat: Tether for $BTC Credit 🔥 → A new dollar built on Digital Credit → $BTC solved money → But stablecoins are still stuck in fiat rails Saturn is here to fix that 👇
