As part of the #UNESCO International Week of #Science and the #UNSDGs @UN_SDG @icomosSDG2030 , our @CyUniTech proudly reaffirms its commitment to advancing global #collaboration, #innovation, and #academic #excellence. This week, our Vice Rector for Academic and Research Affairs @nictsap led a University delegation on a special visit to #HangzhouDianzi University - en.hdu.edu.cn/ (China). This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and research exchange. 🇨🇳🤝 During the visit, our Vice Rector had the honour of presenting a special gift to our host's Vice Rector Prof. Wenjun LI, an exact replica of a 3,000 year old ancient plate discovered in #Amathunda, the birthplace of our hosting city #Limassol. 🏺✨ The original artefact forms part of the collection digitised by our @UNESCO_DCH_ERA University’s mission to @Medelhavsmuseet @Sweden, which preserves the second largest collection of terracotta artefacts in the world ( second only to that of #China). This remarkable initiative highlights our University’s and of the Research Center #MNEMOSYNE dedication to #CulturalHeritage #Memory #Preservation, #Research, and #digital #Innovation.
