Dear #a11y #Accessibility #Blind communities, I have an important announcement to make. Tonight, I will be turning off the switch for reddit.com/r/blind, which is one of the biggest communities for the blind and visually impaired. It's something I never thought I would do, but I believe it's necessary to show support for other communities on #Reddit. You may have heard about the news lately. There has been a lot of talk about Reddit's CEO and leadership. r/blind has played a significant role in raising concerns, and it has gained attention from the media. As a result, I have decided to shut down r/blind for the first time in 10 years since I created it. But here's some good news. Reddit is now taking accessibility seriously. They have even hired a vendor to help improve the website's accessibility. I will be reaching out to the Reddit administrators to ask for a timeline. I hope that within the next few weeks and months, Reddit will become a better place for everyone, with over 20,000 members and still growing. Thank you for understanding, and let's hope for positive changes ahead.

It was a deal made with the devil and it has to be worth what they paid, so they can’t believe anything, even trump’s own words, that make him less than perfect. It is the religious right that made the religion about trump. That is why so many of us are rejecting that religion.

They entangled trumpism with Christianity and made them believe their eternal life is tied to supporting trump. So of course they hold to it with religious dogma. They have to justify everything because they sacrificed their faith for this evil man.

A lot of people are responsible for the cult of trump, but I believe the evangelical leaders are the most egregious. They created the myth that he would save christians. They convinced everyone voting for trump is a Christian imperative. They demonized everyone else.
