Today’s @LiberalVictoria under Jess Wilson is running Chat GPT questions to stop electoral funding integrity in the middle of the night! No wonder One Nation are eating them alive. #springst

We're extending the off-the-plan Stamp Duty Concession for another year, to get more Victorians into homes. This means cutting upfront costs, speeding up building, and an average saving of $25,000 for homebuyers. Anyone buying an eligible apartment, unit or townhouse off-the-plan can claim the concession – not just first home buyers and owner-occupiers. And we've removed the cap, so that the concession applies to properties of any value.

It's Election Day! Today's the day Australia decides who will lead us through the next three years. The choice to me is clear - only an Albanese Labor Government can steer us in the right direction for a fairer, more prosperous and progressive future @AlboMP @AustralianLabor

Absolute cause for celebration! A great education system addresses the different needs & strengths amongst its student cohort For too long, many students felt VCE simply wasn't for them. Our Government has worked tirelessly to change that. The results speak for themselves
I am incredibly proud of our VCE Vocational Major - the biggest reform to senior secondary schooling in a generation. I’ve always said there has to be a pathway for everyone in the #EducationState and students like Florence from Coburg High are showing the way in pursuit of her dream job as an animal carer in a wildlife sanctuary. Student achievement comes in many forms beyond a study score and all forms of excellence should be celebrated. Victoria is the only state to have grown vocational education and training for the past four consecutive years. Our Year 12 completion rates have gone from 91.7 per cent in 2021, to 97.5 per cent in 2024, and our Vocational Major enrolments have surge 28 per cent from 2023 to 2024. This is what Labor Governments do. We invest in our future and make sure no one is left behind.

I held two Women's Pain forums in Monbulk last year They were powerful gatherings where women spoke - some for the first time ever - about the medical misogyny, the indifference, the dismissal of their experiences of pain 1...
As Elaine Scarry once put it: “To have great pain is to have certainty; to hear another person has pain is to have doubt.”  The Victorian government’s Inquiry into Women’s Pain offers an opportunity to overcome that doubt. satpa.pe/xKrTiMm

Some of the stories were beyond distressing to hear, but were equally important to be told The systems has been inherently biased towards men for centuries We are getting on with creating a health system which hears, sees, believes & helps women And not a moment too soon ...2

There is no place for this behaviour and especially not at one of the most sacred sites, during the most sacred of times. The disrespect these cowards have shown is repugnant.

This is great news. It goes without saying the the quality of what we teach our teachers has a direct bearing on their capacity to teach effectively. As a former teacher, I'm thrilled these reforms are taking place. High quality education is fundamental to a thriving society
Across Australia education ministers and leaders are making subtle but important changes to the education narrative in our nation. Thanks @AlexCrowe12 for shining some light on the most ambitious reforms to initial teacher education in decades. #AusPol #SpringSt

I would like us to renew our hope that #peace is possible! From the Holy Sepulchre, the Church of the Resurrection, where this year #Easter is being celebrated by Catholics and Orthodox on the same day, may the light of peace radiate throughout the Holy Land and the entire world.

Requiescat in pace ✝️
Across Victoria, and around the world, Catholics are united as they mourn the death of His Holiness, Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome. Pope Francis was a leader of the Church, and a leader of the world. He was a tireless advocate for the poor. A relentless voice for the marginalised. He believed that caring for the sick was part of the Church’s essential mission – and that compassion for the vulnerable was core to the human condition. He shared a message of peace, courage, and humility. A message that has never mattered more. I offer my sincere condolences to Catholic communities across Victoria as they grieve his profound loss. May he rest in eternal peace.

Michael Sukkar is no match for Clare O'Neil and Sarah Ferguson. The coalition's record on social and affordable housing is woeful. Labor is tackling this problem both federally and here in Victoria. All Sukkar can offer is fabricated numbers to hide his abysmal record. Shame.
Under Labor: 55k social and affordable homes with 28k already in planning or construction  Under the Liberals: no social and affordable homes, no ambition, no plan. Just cuts (and maybe some disappointed mothers)
