30 hours for 1 week's average student rent (Roughly £260-300 a week).
£12.71 is not an unreasonable wage to pay people doing retail.

I feel like America could just solve the gerrymandering issue by having 4 times more representatives. It's a lot harder to Gerrymander smaller districts, e.g it's not a problem in the U.K.

20 years ago today Birmingham was hit by a T5/T6 tornado, the strongest tornado recorded in the UK since 1954.
It tracked for around 7 miles before dissipating & caused around £40 million in damages.
