Lets recap who Anita Sarkeesian is first: A liar that used games to climb ladder. Here are the actual quotes:
In a 2014 New York Times op-ed, she described campaigning as a child for a Game Boy: “I remember, when I was a kid, desperately trying to persuade my mom and dad to buy me a Game Boy. They were very reluctant. … I persisted, however, and after some months of campaigning finally convinced my parents…”
In a 2015 Wired interview, she stated: “I have been playing games for most of my life.”
However the 2010 video clip a pre-fame panel/student-presentation video when she states:
"“I’m not a fan of video games. I actually had to learn a lot about video games in the process of making this. […] I’m not a fan of video games. I would love to play video games, but I don’t want to go around shooting people and ripping off their heads, and it’s just gross."
Anita Sarkeesian describes the GamerGate movement as nothing more than a backlash against an industry that was finally starting to change.
"GamerGate is really a sexist temper tantrum. They're going after and targeting women who are trying to make changes in the industry. They're attacking anyone who supports women."
Did this statement not age well as it became obvious that the industry was trying to force out gamers?
