The year is 1949.
The Nobel Prize in Medicine has just gone to the man who invented the lobotomy. Your doctor suggests one for your sister, who has not been herself since the baby came. It is the most celebrated advance in psychiatry of the age, and he is simply current. By the time the prize curdles into an embarrassment, close to twenty thousand Americans have had the operation, and proportionally more here in Britain.
The year is 1956.
Lay the baby down on his front, the doctor says. So does the most trusted childcare book ever written, the one on every new mother's shelf. On his back he might choke, the reasoning goes. Millions obey. The advice holds for nearly thirty years, long after the evidence has quietly turned, and a generation of cot deaths is counted before anyone thinks to roll the babies over.
The year is 1966.
A bestselling book informs your wife that menopause is a disease, that she is, in the author's word, a castrate, and that a small daily pill will keep her youthful and tolerable to live with. Her doctor agrees. The drug becomes one of the most prescribed in the country. Nobody mentions that the author sat on the payroll of the company that made it. That detail surfaces decades later, in the same year the landmark trial is halted early for raising rates of breast cancer, stroke and clots.
The year is 1979.
Your ulcer is caused by stress and sharp food, the doctor explains. Calm down, drink milk, take the antacid that happens to be the best-selling medicine on earth. Two Australians are about to prove that most ulcers are caused by a bacterium and cured by a fortnight of antibiotics. The profession laughs. One of them eventually drinks a beaker of the stuff to settle the matter. The establishment takes the better part of twenty years to stop laughing. The Nobel lands in 2005.
The year is 1985.
Butter is dangerous, the doctor says. Switch to margarine, it is modern, it is heart-healthy, the experts are united. The spread he nudges you toward is loaded with trans fats, which the next decade will identify as the genuinely dangerous one, and which will eventually be banned outright. The butter goes quietly back in the fridge. No correction is ever printed at the volume of the original warning.
The year is 1992.
There is a pyramid on the surgery wall, and the very same one in your grandchild's classroom. Bread, cereal, rice and pasta form the broad virtuous base, up to eleven servings a day. Fat is exiled to the tiny tip. The chart was reportedly held back a year while the relevant industries had their say. It is wrong at the bottom and wrong at the top.
Now it is today.
Your doctor has new guidelines, new studies, a fresh consensus, delivered with precisely the steady confidence of every guideline above. He believes it, and he has good reason to. So did every doctor in this thread. None of them were villains. Each was sincere, most were kind, and all were certain, reading from a map that somebody else had drawn and handed them. That is the part worth sitting with.
So when the man in the white coat tells you what to eat, what to fear, and what to swallow every morning for the rest of your life, you are allowed to ask. Who paid for the study. What the evidence says beneath the headline. What he was just as certain about thirty years ago, and where that advice sits now.
Then make up your own mind. Call it scepticism, or call it whatever your grandmother called it when she ignored the advert, kept the butter where it was, and lived to ninety-one.
It has outlasted every consensus on this list. It will outlast this one too.

I’ll be heading to Calgary next week to cover the certification motion hearing in the proposed class action lawsuit filed by vaccine-injured Carrie Sakamoto against the AG of Canada and His Majesty the King in Right of Alberta, alleging negligent misrepresentation, misfeasance in public office, breach of fiduciary duty, the tort of conspiracy, and negligence.
Sakamoto suffered her injuries after her second COVID-19 shot in June 2021. Since then, she has been a vocal advocate for other injured Canadians, spoken out about her experience with the scandalous former VISP Program, and continued to highlight others’ stories.
I spoke with Carrie today about her case and the upcoming hearing.

Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Federal and Provincial Government for Misinformation and Negligence about risk and dangers of Covid-19 Vaccines
A class action lawsuit has been filed by Rath & Company on behalf of Albertans harmed by the Covid-19 vaccines (the “Covid Vaccines”). This legal action is centered around allegations of unlawful, negligent, inadequate, improper, unfair, and deceptive practices by the Defendants in relation to the warning, marketing, promotion, and distribution of the Covid Vaccines.
Carrie Sakamoto who filed the claim individually last year, is listed as class representative for the proposed class action lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed in the Court of King’s Bench in Lethbridge, Alberta, against the Government of Canada and Province of Alberta (the “Defendants”). The lawsuit claims that the Defendants were negligent, provided information they knew to be false and incomplete, and that they censored and suppressed truthful and reliable information about vaccine injuries thereby vitiating informed consent and causing harm to Ms. Sakamoto and many others in Alberta. The lawsuit goes on to allege misfeasance in public office and conspiracy to commit assault and battery on the public.
Jeffrey Rath, lead counsel on the case, says: “I think Canadians will be shocked to learn about the rushed changes to safety standard for the Covid Vaccines which removed the requirement for the Covid Vaccines to be either “safe or effective” while, at the same time, the Defendants promoted, distributed, and marketed the Covid Vaccines as “safe and effective” to the public. And the Defendants didn’t stop there, they went further by coercion the public to take the Covid Vaccines by stripping rights from them or providing financial incentives for taking the Covid Vaccines. What does that do for informed consent? Does this amount to a conspiracy to commit assault and battery on the public? These are questions that we are asking the court to determine. And, I think, the public deserves some answers.”
“The Government of Canada has already conceded, to the Public Accounts Committee, that the contracts with the manufacturers were rushed, did not contain the normal standards, and provided additional indemnities in favour of the manufacturers,” Eva. Chipiuk co-counsel on the case goes on to say. “The Defendants held themselves out as public health experts and gave medical advice to the public at large. They intentionally set out to build a relationship of trust between themselves and the public during the pandemic at a time when they knew the public was vulnerable and afraid. They knew or ought to have known that the public would be relying on their information for their health, safety and protection.”
The class action represents all impacted individuals in Alberta. This proposed class action lawsuit seeks justice for individuals who have suffered physical and psychological injuries or death due to the alleged negligence and misconduct by the Defendants in respect of the Covid Vaccines. It aims to hold the Defendants accountable and obtain compensation for those adversely affected.

This is during the internal disciplinary misconduct hearing against Ottawa Police Detective Helen Grus (charged with “discreditable conduct” for daring to investigate sudden infant deaths and asking about COVID vaccine status of parents).
Van den Berg was cross-examining witnesses and addressing the hearing officer/tribunal adjudicator Chris Renwick when this bombshell dropped.
😳 ⚡️ The hearing officer physically lurched forward in his wheeled chair and yelled “STOP!” as the horrific Pfizer data was being stated — a moment burned into van den Berg’s mind forever. 😳
FULL TRANSCRIPT (Bath-Sheba van den Berg speaking in the hearing):
“In the clinical data itself, it reported that there was 270 women – actually 274 women that had unanticipated pregnancies. And that means that they weren’t actually part of the clinical trial themselves.
They just had unanticipated pregnancies and that out of the 274 – and they said four were fetus cases, so if we look at actually 270 is actually the figure.
That 238 outcomes are unknown. So they didn’t know what happened to two hundred and thirty-eight pregnancies but they did know about the other 32, and 31 had died. Thirty-one babies have died out of 32. That’s a 97% fatality rate during the Pfizer clinical trials.
Now, [referring to] Detective Gruss while she was testifying – she’s sitting there in front of me facing [them] and she’s stating simply that 31 out of 32. And as she was stating that, the hearing officer lurched forward because you’ve got to remember these chairs… this chair right here has wheels on it… kind of lurched forward. It said ‘stop’. As he was stating that information. And she just went like this [gesture]. I know I’ll never forget that image. And it’s because of that image that has been burned into my mind. But I thought it is important to talk about her case publicly. Not just her case, for what she was looking [at].”

Robert Kennedy Jr. wants to do the most basic thing science can do - compare the health outcomes of vaccinated children to unvaccinated children using the largest medical database in America.
That's it. That's the study. That's the scientific method.
And the American Academy of Pediatrics is suing him to stop it.
Think about what that means. Not content with blocking changes to the vaccine schedule, they are now going to court to prevent an investigation into whether the schedule is actually producing healthy children. The one question the entire program should have been answering for fifty years, and the people who run that program are fighting in federal court to make sure it never gets asked.
This is an industry protecting itself from its own data.
I am not accusing anyone in medicine of malice. I am saying that the long-term health investigation has never been done with the seriousness it deserves, and now that someone is finally trying to do it, there is a worldwide effort to shut it down before it starts.
We have to do this study. We have databases right now, like the Henry Ford Health database, that could give us real answers. Every database in this country should be opened to this investigation. The scientific method demands it. The health of our children demands it.
The only people who have something to fear from the truth are the ones fighting this hard to hide from it.
