With most people currently being focused on base ai agents and pumpfun Build in Public hackathon approaching, I believe this is a good opportunity to take position in solid pump contenders.
It’s likely the first time that this level of attention from major advisors and VCs is being catalyzed around on-chain projects.
There will be 12 winners which I think is a very consequent number given that there aren’t 100s of quality projects on pump.
How am I positioning myself to front-run this? I’m thinking in terms of large, obvious categories and narratives (mainstream themes with real potential in crypto) and selecting one or two likely winners in each. My reasoning is that the eventual winners will be spread across different categories (they won’t pick 12 similar projects).
- Privacy:
$monerochan
- Agentic commerce:
$purch ($zauth is also extremely solid but they said they would not dox and I think this might be an issue ;
$dreams haven’t disclosed if they were participating)
- Prediction markets (one of the advisors is a polymarket guy):
$pumpcade and
$predict
- Collectibles:
$tcg and
$jigglypuff
- AI:
$opal (don’t have an entry yet but looking for one)
- Robotics:
$codec
Those are for me the relatively obvious categories and I have fair confidence that there will be at least 1 winner in most of those categories
For other projects that don’t fit into a mainstream narrative I like and own
$bloxx and
$stable
My strategy is therefore to spread my bets (I own a lot of monerochan and then relatively small stacks of all the rest) in order to maximize my luck to hit one or a few winners.
