Hardcore Modi Bhakts must be crying inside their bedrooms, "Why isn't my God not saying a word against USA killing Indian mariners?" They can't dare to question him in public, because that's BLASPHEMY

This period has been our most successful period yet, with more than double the hashpower of the last period! Every period more miners are signaling readiness for BIP-110. Prepare for activation!
I am pleased to report that there has been a flurry of new BIP-110 blocks, and that our hashrate has roughly doubled since last period: bip110monitor.com/

“Oi nah nah, we’re putting the financial system on chain!” _you mean the one that busts every 29 years and requires external stimuli otherwise it wouldn’t survive… that one, yeah?_ “Yeah! We’re bringing that on chain!!!! How good!” Bullish.

A friendly reminder, that Core only got compromised because the banking cartel knew where to go and who to pay/coerce. Core and their offices in "rainbow cities" are an attack vector.

Michael Seller pitching fiat stonks now. Literally "I like bitcoin, buy my shitcoin" keeping people trapped in the money printer and not stacking sats. 100% shitcoiner behaviour. Mashinsky would be envious.
Digital Credit. Digital Money. Digital Equity. Digital Treasury. My conversation with @ColeMacro at @BTCPrague on the future of capital markets, followed by Q&A on the nuances of Bitcoin-backed securities and corporate finance.

Bitcoin survives thanks to community action, it's not a magic thing.
If Bitcoin can’t survive. it should die.

MSTR stonkers are trapped. They believed in the magic of financialization, thinking they’d get ahead. Now many new entrants are sitting on less than half the BTC value they once had. So they hope and pray. They yell “he said it’s accretive!” at the skies. The cognitive dissonance grows, the cult behavior intensifies. But the writing is already on the wall: their BTC value likely won’t recover. And what remains will be trapped inside the very system Bitcoin was designed to escape.

This is a Bitcoin education problem. Much of the funding in this space focuses on showing the number of rockstar developers....... whatever the fuck that means
I've been in Bitcoin for 3 years and even I don't know for sure what "back up the node and channel" even means. What I'm trying to say is that we've got to make using Bitcoin a LOT more easy and intuitive before we can expect the billions to come pouring in. Seed phrases ain't gonna scale to 8 billion people.

1-click backup is an app interface problem. You can contribute or donate to the Phoenix project (or any of the other LN projects). And this is unrelated to the existence of seed phrases.

Saylor is currently rugging the entire adoption trend since he came into the space, diverting plebs and would-be Bitcoiners into buying not-BTC and risky yield products that keep them sucking the fiat teat. Could take a decade to recover. Bitcoiners wake up!

This problem, in particular, can be mitigated to an extent with covenants. But consensus needs to be built around it. In general, transaction reversibility can only happen in a centralized system. Bitcoin requires self-ownership.
Replying to @DelcinMaria
Fiat is def better. Transactions can be reversed. There are additional auth steps that limit damage. Receiving accounts can be frozen.

If you do things like self custody your own Bitcoin, run your own full node, build your own Bitcoin blocks, and advocate for such things when it comes to your Bitcoin messaging, then you’ve done more for the Bitcoin Network than Michael Saylor. If you know, you Knots RDTS

Other privacy projects love to flex the volume, proof of reserves etc. I'm working on joinstr v2 that would make coinjoin transactions look the same as other transactions. - No volume stats - No taint - No exchanges will be able to freeze deposits
