Out now in @natcomms : parvalbumin-expressing neurons of the diagonal band of Broca mediate learning from negative experiences rdcu.be/dJ9ek Congratulations Panna Hegedüs, @kiraly_b, Dániel Schlingloff!
Adam is just about to flood us with information about compartment-specific neuronal and vascular modulation by #microglia at the #FENS-Hertie Winter School
@FENSorg@DenesLab
We conclude a wonderful @EMBO Stroke-Immunology Workshop in Munich!
Many thanks to all the speakers and participants for their contributions and discussions.
Our new paper by Császár, Lénárt et al., is out in @JExpMed showing that #microglia modulate cerebral blood flow, neurovascular coupling and adaptation to hypoperfusion via dynamic, purinergic actions in the #NVU.

New paper out in @PLOSBiology elaborating on the importance of the NKCC1 transporter in microglial physiology and inflammatory responses. Central vs systemic blockade of NKCC1 with bumetanide have opposite effects. Great team effort led by @KrisztinaTth6journals.plos.org/plosbiolog…
Many thanks to all speakers and participants who contributed to the Stroke-Immunology meeting. Great talks, inspiring data, stimulating discussions - see you all next year!
Huge success! Our paper on somatic microglia-neuron junctions has been honored with the annual Outstanding Paper Award from @eurmicsoc
Join us in congratulating all the authors!

We really enjoyed working together, and huge congratulations @DanielP_Varga
Our paper has been picked by @sciencemagazine for first release!

We are extremely grateful for the hard work and utmost help of everybody involved!
Today is #WorldStrokeDay !
Stroke is the second leading cause of death. 1 of 4 of us will have a stroke!
Besides better prevention, we must increase our efforts for a better mechanistic understanding of this disease and develop novel therapies @ISD_Research
I want express my sincere gratitude to the organizers and program committee of @brain_2019, to @ISD_Research@LieszLab and all the kind congratulators for being honored with the Niels Lassen Award!
From our lab we had two beautiful study presented by @BekyBlack@csaszar_eszter at the Brain meeting in Yokohama. Expect to hear more at the first stroke immunology meeting next year in Münich!
