Maybe, instead of National Service for 18 year olds they should introduce national service for MPs.
They all have to do several weeks volunteering in a school, GP, hospital, care home, social care and police within their first 12 months in office.
Politicising sex education is unforgivable dangerous & reactionary. It’s always *age appropriate* to give young people skills to stay safe. For younger ones that means teaching about respect & healthy relationships. This is worst kind of arm-chair politics bigoted & ill-informed
The assault on Rafah is another utterly despicable war crime.
As bombs rain down on a trapped and terrified population, we implore our government to find an ounce of humanity and end its complicity in this senseless massacre.
Wake up. This is not war. This is genocide.
The Rwanda Bill is a disgusting piece of legislation designed to demonise the world's most vulnerable people.

She performed in Lancashire in the mid-1700s.
ALT Portrait by Jean-Étienne Liotard.
A painting of Rachael Baptist. A woman with dark skin, with a white head wrap covering her hair and slightly smiling.
Creative Industries make up 6% of our economy. That’s more than car and oil industries together. They employ 2.3million people. To cut funding for creative arts at university level is fudge-brained, cack-hearted thinking pitched very much at the highest level of economic self-harm. theguardian.com/education/20…
