Testing is important, DevOps is important, patterns are important, having roadmaps is important. Whenever someone tells you otherwise, you walk away from that company, they donโt know how to handle anything in a realistic scenario.

We focus so much on HTML, CSS and JS...
It took me a while to learn, but clients, start-ups and business owners don't really care what technology we use, or how good or bad the code is.
They just want a website and something that works.
We should try and understand that more.
