This makes me absolutely sick. While I was getting my master’s degree at New York University, I personally watched a horse collapse and drop in the middle of the street and the disgusting illegal migrant (whatever he was) beating the dying animal as it lay there helpless. That horrifying image is still burned into my memory. This is left-wing New York City, the same crowd that endlessly pretends to care about animals and animal rights, yet they do nothing. They allow these poor horses to be brutally abused and worked to death every single day. The New York Post will happily splash the shocking photo of another tortured carriage horse dying in the street across its pages, then monetize the suffering for clicks and views. But where is your real outrage? Why won’t you use your platform to fight for a full ban on these barbaric horse carriages? It’s disgusting that you expose the abuse but refuse to lift a finger to stop it. I’ve fought for years alongside animal advocates to end this cruelty, yet major news outlets like yours stay silent and complicit. Stop profiting off these animals’ pain and start demanding real change. Ban the horse carriages. Now. These innocent creatures deserve far better than performative “journalism.”
