💣 In December 1964, a senior U.S. Defense Department official wrote a secret memo titled The Indian Nuclear Problem. One key assessment was stark: “One consequence of an Indian program is that one more national state, India, could some day be able to attack the United States with nuclear weapons.” Source: Declassified DoD memo by Henry S. Rowen, 24 December 1964

SIPRI Yearbook 2026 now vindicates what I have been documenting for years: India has moved from a so-called recessed, de-mated posture toward operational nuclear warhead deployment and peacetime mating with launchers. 12 warheads are now assessed as deployed with operational forces. The “reliable minimum deterrent” narrative just took a hit. sipri.org/visualizations/202… #SouthAsia #NuclearDeterrence #SIPRI 1/9

Pakistan understood the need of indigenous Satellites after Op Bunyan-um-Marsoos and now SUPARCO (Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission) is launching back-to-back Satellites with the Help of China. 🇮🇳🛰️🇵🇰🇨🇳 SUPARCO has already Launched 6x Earth Observation Satellites since last Indo-Pak Skirmish and seems like we're about to witness further lift-offs in Upcoming Days. Talking about the Importance, these Satellite are mainly for Civilian Uses, but PAF Space Command can also deploy them to Capture and Publicly Release the Images of Destroyed Military Targets in future Conflicts.
Pakistan has launched Six Earth-observation satellites in last 16 months. These satellites are carefully positioned to provide Pakistan with continuous Sat imagery of Indian territory. The Chinese satellites monitor Indian territory more than even India does. Each inch of our territory is under surveillance — ISRO officials

“SIPRI Year Book: Nine Nuclear Weapon States -2026” This clearly indicates that all major nuclear weapon states are not only modernizing and retaining their nuclear weapons but also increasing vertically. Others follow suit. India has consistently been going up the trajectory, becoming the largest and fastest-growing nuclear weapons state in South Asia, threatening Pakistan and others. No one is willing to disarm their nuclear weapons. There is no sign of nuclear disarmament for obvious security reasons. Others will not be interested in disarming their nuclear weapons despite the efforts for the nonproliferation regimes. Nuclear weapons will continue to play their deterring role in the international system. Nuclear deterrence continues to retain its strategic value despite the emergence of disruptive technologies. @SIPRIorg @SweArmsControl @AlvamyrdalCNTR @RobertEgnell @UNIDIR @nuclearban @scientistsorg @SweMFA @CSparre @ICRC @FOIresearch @hrw @PugwashConfs @Greenpeace @globalzero @antonioguterres #SIPRIYearbook2026 #NuclearWeapons #ArmsControl #NuclearRisk #Disarmament #NonProliferation

The growth of 🇮🇳’s nuclear arsenal, alongside the deployment of nuclear warheads & the expansion of ICBM & SLBM capabilities, signals a troubling path for regional & global security. Strategic stability is strengthened through restraint, not through an accelerating arms buildup.

🇮🇳is now the world’s fastest-growing nuclear power. In just one year (2025–26), it added 10 warheads. More alarmingly, it appears to be shifting from its undeployed, de-mated weapons pledge to a deployed posture, placing regional & international stability at risk as well as increasing fears of accidental or unauthorised launch, especially after the BrahMos incident in🇵🇰.

🇮🇳's rejection of the joint statement by EU &🇵🇰 cannot change ground facts. #JammuandKashmir (J&K) is disputed territory since 1948 &🇮🇳 itself took the issue to the UN.🇮🇳 will have to give the right of self-derermination to the people of J&K & end its illegal occupation #EU #UN

Kashmir is recognized as a disputed territory, a status endorsed by several UNSC resolutions, beginning with Resolution 47 (1948), which call for a peaceful resolution of the issue. Statements cannot erase realities.

Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute, and no amount of "categorical rejections" will make the global community look away. Trying to silence diplomatic talk only shows India's fear of international scrutiny. #EU #India #Pakistan #Kashmir

UNSC resolutions on J&K are matters of intl. legal record. Indian leaders repeatedly acknowledged it as disputed and committed to resolution through dialogue and plebiscite. Neither time nor unilateral action by 🇮🇳 nullifies those obligations under international law.

Diplomatic objections cannot rewrite history. Jammu & Kashmir has remained on the UN agenda since 1948 as an obligation that 🇮🇳 needs to fulfill & continues to have implications for regional peace & security. Lasting peace lies in constructive engagement & a just resolution, not in denying established realities. #India #UN #Pakistan #EU #JammuandKashmir

Attempts to alter the status of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir through constitutional gerrymandering convince no one beyond🇮🇳itself.🇮🇳’s irresponsible and belligerent conduct in the region, coupled with human rights violations in the valley, has once again drawn international attention to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, a reality also reflected in the🇪🇺🇵🇰Joint Statement. In the broader regional and international interest, this issue must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the relevant UN resolutions.
