India- the ‘rogue state’ that’s making the region & its own citizens repeatedly pay the price for its belligerent, antagonistic, parochial mindset….. ‘Under normal circumstances a country claiming it will stop water flow that it’s bound to allow to flow due to a ‘treaty’ arrangement between two states 60 yrs back would seem delusional. But for rogue India that operates outside the realm of intl law and rules enabled by the tacit silence of many, this is a dangerous escalation towards regional instability & permanent state of war.

A 28-year-old model and former Mrs Kerala contestant has been arrested at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after customs officials allegedly recovered more than 11 kg of hydroponic marijuana valued at Rs 11.82 crore from her luggage.
The accused, Harsha Sunny, arrived in Mumbai from Bangkok on the night of June 10-11 aboard Air India flight TG-351. According to customs officials, officers from the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) and the Customs Department became suspicious of her behaviour during routine surveillance and decided to stop her for further examination.

If BJP gets support from around 20 rebel #TMC MPs, the political impact may be felt 2,000 km away in #Maharashtra, and Eknath Shinde could have the most to lose.
Why?
After Maharashtra polls, Shinde’s biggest strength was no longer Mumbai. It was Delhi.
His 7 MPs made the Shinde-led @Shivsenaofc NDA’s 3rd largest ally at a time when BJP lacked a majority on its own.
If BJP now gets a fresh 20-member pro-NDA bloc, those 7 MPs become far less valuable.
And when BJP becomes less dependent on Shinde in Parliament, Shinde’s leverage within Mahayuti weakens.
Which also means one thing-
More room for @Dev_Fadnavis . More control for the BJP in Maharashtra.
In coalition politics, power comes not just from numbers, but from being indispensable.
And Bengal may just make Shinde a little less indispensable.

Mumbai Customs has arrested a 28-year-old woman for allegedly attempting to smuggle high-value drugs into India through Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
According to customs officials, the woman arrived on a flight from Bangkok and came under suspicion during routine checks. Officers conducted a detailed examination of her trolley bag and discovered 12 vacuum-sealed transparent plastic packets containing hydroponic weed, a high-quality form of cannabis.
Customs officials recovered 11.824 kilograms of hydroponic weed from the passenger's luggage. The seized contraband has an estimated value of Rs 11.82 crore in the international market.

#WATCH | Thousands of protestors from various parts of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) gathered in Rawalakot and raised slogans against what they described as Pakistan’s continued occupation and policies in the region. The demonstrators demanded justice for civilians who were reportedly killed and injured during firing by Pakistani security forces amid recent protests.
The rally was addressed by local political leaders and representatives of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), who criticised the authorities’ handling of the protests and called for an independent investigation into the reported deaths and injuries. Speakers urged the international community and human rights organisations to take note of the situation and press for justice for the affected families.
