Our new study in @PLOSONE on minimally-invasive resection of deep-seated subcortical intraventricular lesions using the Aurora Surgiscope integrated camera-port system. This retrospective series included 25 patients mostly accessing: 🧠 Colloid cysts, Brain metastases, Gliomas/ependymomas, ICH, other subcortical/intraventricular lesions Key findings: • Mean lesion depth: 3.5 cm • Gross total resection -> 70.6% of intended resections • Median operative time: 2.4 hours Our experience demonstrates the feasibility, versatility, and safety of integrated visualization illumination technology for minimally-invasive access to deep brain pathology. Excited to share our new JNS publication: Adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma outcomes from a US multicenter RAPID registry cohort. 359 patients across high-volume pituitary centers. Key message: ACP remains surgically and endocrinologically challenging. Extent of resection, tumor size, and extension pattern were associated with progression-free survival.
